» Jim Ross posted a blog last Friday noting that Candice Michelle has been working out in Tampa at Florida Championship Wrestling as of late. Candice has been out of action since March due to her twice broken collar bone. She should be ready to return to the ring soon. Ross also commented on the recent roster cuts ("Another tough week for some WWE talents who got news that they were being released. I know that there are some really good human beings who will be soon looking for work and I sincerely hope that none of them stop chasing their dreams."), SummerSlam, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, and more.

» As noted on Raw earlier last night, next week's show will air live next Monday on the Sci Fi channel. The show will replay at 11:00 p.m. on the USA Network following U.S. Open tennis. Originally, the show was going to be first run at 11 p.m. Additionally, this is the last year in which the U.S. Open will be on the USA Network.

» As noted earlier, Carlito’s brother Eddie Colon made his WWE television debut this week on Raw. He was featured in a brief cameo during a backstage segment with General Manager Mike Adamle. Colon, who has been working in WWE's developmental system, was referred to as Primo Colon. Colon has has worked for his family's World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico and is currently at Florida Championship Wrestling, where he and Eric Perez are the tag champions.

» On Raw it was announced that CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship in a 5-man Scramble match next month’s Unforgiven PPV. The challengers will be John Cena, Batista, Kane and JBL. The rules of the match are that once the bell rings, anyone can get a pinfall on anyone else to become champion. The title will be able to change several times throughout the match. Whoever has the gold after 20 minutes will be declared the winner and World Heavyweight Champion.
