Kazarian and Christopher Daniels are out first to a fair bit of heat from the crowd. Joe and Magnus are out next to a big pop from the crowd.

Robbie looks incredibly relieved, giving Terry another hug.

- We get a video package looking at the recent issues between Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson, stemming from the argument about who deserves to be the #1 contender to the TNA World Championship more.

Hardy hits an inverted atomic drop, then tries for his low dropkick, but it’s blocked by Anderson. Anderson rolls up Hardy, and it’s a really weird three count, but the bell rings, and apparently Anderson won the match. Anderson looks confused, and the fans don’t seem happy.

Winner: Mr. Anderson

We get a replay of the pinfall and it looks like Hardy clearly kicked out of the pin. The result seems like it will stand though and Hardy looks amicable to the decision. Anderson makes his way up the ramp, not looking too happy about the victory. Taz and Tenay discuss between themselves whether or not Hardy actually kicked out.

Backstage:

Christy Hemme is backstage with Austin Aries where she’ll be asking questions from Twitter. Someone wants to know if Aries is intimidated by Ray. Aries says no. His whole life people have tried to intimidate him, but it’s not in his nature, no matter how big or tough someone is. He says Ray has disrespected him, and tonight he gets that respect tonight. Ray thinks bigger is better. Aries thinks better is better. He says tonight this little man will pick up all 280 pounds of Ray and drop him on his head, and defeat him. He’ll look big when Ray is on his back after Aries has won.

He says that he knows his brother Chris is close, and he wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up tonight. He says in the meantime, he’s going to sit back and watch Austin Aries kick Bully Ray’s a-, but he stops himself.

In the Arena:

Apparently this is turning into an episode of Impact as Crimson makes his way out to the ring to grab a mic. He says everyone know what he’s capable of. Everyone saw it on Thursday when he put down Matt Morgan without even breaking a sweat. He says all he does is win and that’s what he’ll continue to do. He says no one in the back wants to fight him, and no one in the crowd wants to fight him. He went around to everyone in the back and issued an open challenge.

Crimson calls a ref into the ring. He says he came here tonight, to have a fight, and to win. He asks the ref if he knows what that’s like. The ref says no. Crimson tells the ref to ring the bell, count to ten, and call Crimson the winner. The bell rings, and the ref begins the count.

The ref makes it to eight before he’s interrupted by the music of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. ODB and EY make their way out to the entrance ramp. ODB has a mic. She says if he wants to throw down an open challenge, she’s beaten bigger broads than his undefeated ass. EY says these people know where she’s going. He says they’re married and in love. Her problems are EY’s problems, if Crimson is good enough for ODB, he’s good enough for him. Crimson hits a falcon arrow for another two count before locking in a cravat.

EY fights out of the hold, but he eats an elbow and a big exploder suplex from Crimson. Crimson waits for EY to get to his feet, and he’s caught from behind by ODB. Crimson shoves ODB down hard. EY isn’t happy, pulling down his pants to reveal American flag trunks. EY takes Crimson down with some big clotheslines before taking him to the mat with a body slam. EY hits a flying elbow drop before going to check on ODB. Crimson attacks and knocks EY into ODB, sending ODB crashing to the mat. Crimson hits the Red Sky, and gets the three count.

Winner: Crimson

Backstage:

JB is backstage with Bully Ray and more Twitter questions. The question is how can Ray compete with a much younger and faster Austin Aries. Ray asks if JB knows who he is. JB says he’s well aware. Ray says he doesn’t do Twitter, and when he does, he trends on Twitter. Ray goes oldschool, throwing out a Myspace URL. Ray says he saw fear in Aries’ eyes. He’s the most legit bada– Aries has been in the ring with. Ray says Aries can’t get him up in the brainbuster because he’s not man enough or big enough. He says he doesn’t care how big Aries’ heart is, because tonight he’s going to break it.

- We get a video package that highlights the history between Bully and Aries over the past few weeks, stemming from Ray making fun of Aries height and size.

Austin Aries vs. Bully Ray

The bell rings and Ray and Aries stare at each other from across the ring. Aries walks straight up to Ray in the middle of the ring and looks at him. Ray talks a little trash, so Aries backs up and props himself up in the corner, laying across the top rope. Aries gets in Ray’s face, yelling back at him. Both men begin to circle each other. Ray goes into the ropes to prevent a lock up. Ray tells the ref to calm Aries down.

Ray continues to avoid a lockup, going into the ropes and out to the apron a second time. Ray walks out to the ring steps. Rey tells the ref to tell the fans to shut up. Ray gets back into the ring, and avoids a third lock up, but on his way out, Aries kicks the second rope into Ray’s crotch. Aries beats on Ray in the corner, then catches him with a big boot. Aries launches himself off the second rope, but Ray catches him and slams him down. Ray spits in Aries’ face, so Aries slaps Ray and beats on him with repeated rights in the corner. Aries goes up to the top, but Ray catches him with a huge boot that sends him sailing to the outside and crashing into the barricade.

Aries back has immediately started welting up and bruising. Aries is slow to make his way back into the ring, and when he does, Ray turns his attention right to Aries’ back. Ray lays in with some huge clubbing blows to Aries’ back, slowing down the pace greatly. Ray stomps away at Aries in the corner before gloating to the crowd. Aries fights out of the hold, and runs right into a big back body drop.

Ray catches Aries with a big chop to the chest, but Aries pops up and asks for more. Ray hits another chop, but Aries it up again, hitting him with a big right hand, and a series of forearms. Ray comes back with another chop and tells Aries to stay down. Aries refuses, getting back up and hitting a couple of chops of his own. Ray rakes Aries’ eyes, then hits an elbow to the top of the head. Aries hits Ray with a shoulder to the gut and a couple of elbows to the top of the head of his own. Aries drags Ray’s face across the top rope, leaps over the big man, and takes him into the corner. Aries runs into a big boot and eats a urunage from Ray, but it’s not enough to keep Aries down for three.

Aries counters out of something and kicks away at Ray, but he ends up eating a pop-up ace crusher, but it’s still not enough to keep Aries down for three and Ray is livid. Ray grabs a chain, but Joseph Park runs to the front, saying Ray can’t do that. Ray pulls Park into the ringside area and grabs a chair, but Aries hits Ray with the heat seeking missile. Ray stumbles back into the ring, and turns around into a top rope missile dropkick. Aries charges in with a dropkick in the corner before hitting a big brainbuster. Aries goes for the pin, but Ray kicks out at two.

Ray tries for a powerbomb, but Aries counters out and locks in the last chancery, forcing Ray to tap out.

Winner: Austin Aries

Backstage:

JB is backstage with AJ Styles. Styles says this isn’t the first time he’s wrestled Kurt Angle, and if he’s not 100% focused on Angle, he doesn’t stand a chance. He’s not here to talk about photos, or Kaz or Daniels or Dixie. He’s here to wrestle Kurt Angle.

This leads into a video package that details the events between Kurt Angle and AJ Styles, as well as Christopher Daniels and Kazarian, that led directly to this match.

After the match, Daniels and Kaz leap into the ring and attack Styles. Angle is quick to fend of Styles’ attackers though, sending both Kaz and Daniels from the ring. Angle offers his hand to AJ and helps him to his feet. AJ and Styles hug in the middle of the ring, and Angle raises Styles arm.

- In an attempt to kill more time, we get a recap of the Lockdown match between Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson that saw Angle go for a ridiculous moonsault of the top of the cage, and go on to win the match.

Backstage:

After some more time-killing from Taz and Tenay, they send it to the back to JB who says that according to a poll, 76% of fans expect to see RVD win the title tonight. Bobby Roode says something doesn’t feel right, and that’s the fact that he’s talking to JB without his title around his waist. He says the stipulation tonight is a ladder match, and his pride and joy is hanging over the ring. He says RVD thinks he’s going to outsmart him tonight, but he’s dead wrong. Hogan can try to stack the deck, but RVD’s plan wont work and no one can stop him. After he climbs the ladder and retains tonight, he’ll climb into the history books because in ten days he’ll go down as the longest reigning World Champion in Impact Wrestling History, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

- We get a promo video for tonight’s main event.

TNA Championship
Ladder Match
- Bobby Roode (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

After running down the Tale of the Tape, and going over how RVD made it into this match, which I’m pretty sure they’ve already explained several times tonight, RVD is the first man to make his way out to the ring. Van Dam gets a good reaction from the crowd as he makes his way out to challenge for the title that he never lost. Bobby Roode is out next, and the champ gets a bit of a mixed reaction, and it sounds like a couple of fans are chanting for him.

After formal ring introductions from JB, I think we’re finally done with all of the stalling, and ready to get this match underway.

The bell rings and RVD and Roode jaw with each other. Roode scores a kick to the gut, sending RVD into the ropes. RVD comes back with a series of kicks, taking Roode to the mat with a kick to the side of the head. RVD sends Roode to the outside over the top rope. RVD follows out and looks under the ring before going to grab a ladder. Roode catches RVD with a boot and sends him into the barricade. RVD avoids being sent into the ring post and sends Roode into the barricade instead. RVD suplexes Roode over the guard rail and heads up to the apron, hitting a big leg drop across Roode’s back.

Van Dam grab a ladder and sets it up against the ring post. RVD heads back into the ring, but Roode kicks the middle rope into RVD’s crotch on the way in. Roode hits a DDT and lay out RVD. Roode heads to the outside and grabs a ladder, but when he goes to bring it in, RVD dropkicks the ladder into his face. Van Dam launches himself over the top, crashing down into Roode.

RVD brings the ladder into the ring and goes to climb it, but Roode stops him and sends Van Dam crashing into the ladder. Roode sets up the ladder in the corner before stomping away at RVD. Roode chops and punches RVD, but RVD reverses an Irish whip and sends Roode crashing into the ladder in the corner. RVD props the ladder in between the second and third rope. RVD ducks being thrown into the ladder, but Roode is able to catapult RVD into the ladder head first.

Roode grabs the ladder and drives it into RVD’s back before propping it up on the middle rope. Roode tries to suplex RVD on the ladder, but RVD is able to reverse it before hitting a lionsault while Roode is still laid across the ladder.

Roode catches RVD with a boot to the stomach, but he runs into a back elbow and eats a springboard kick before RVD sends Roode crashing into the ladder in the corner with a crazy flying body scissors. Van Dam picks up the ladder and props it up against Roode before going to the outside and grabbing a chair. RVD runs around the ring and drives the chair into the ladder, into Roode.

RVD grabs another ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring. RVD begins the climb, but Roode is up right after him. Roode rakes the eyes and forces RVD to fall, but RVD tips over the ladder. Aries catches RVD with a huge clothesline.

Roode sets a ladder down in the middle of the ring and hits a huge spinebuster, planting RVD on the ladder. Roode picks up the ladder and tosses it aside. Roode tries for something, but RVD counters and monkey flips Roode into the ladder propped in the corner. RVD follows it up with rolling thunder while Roode is still laid out on the ladder. RVD sets up the ladder and kicks away at Roode before slamming the ladder down. RVD misses a kick, but a second attempt and RVD connects, laying Roode out on the ladder. RVD heads to the top and tries for the five star frog splash, but Roode moves and RVD crashes into the ladder.

Roode picks up the ladder and uses it to send Van Dam crashing out to the floor and into the barricade. Roode sets up the ladder and begins climbing to the top. RVD tries to leap into the ladder, but he botches it badly and RVD looks to mangle his own leg. Roode climbs up the ladder, and RVD tries to climb after him, but Roode pushes him down head first into the mat and chair, and RVD’s leg is twisted in the ladder again. Roode grabs the title, and falls to the mat as RVD kicks at the ladder.

Winner and Still TNA World Champion: Bobby Roode

Report by Kyle Geiger & PWTorch

I attended the TNA house show Friday night in Thibodeaux. I paid the money for the pre-show meet and greet and it was worth it. Don West came out and was talking to the crowd about all of the cool things that were up for sale. He talked about the Brown Bag Special, which was $30 for four DVDs, a wrestling figure, an Impact Wrestling shirt, and the TNA ten-year program. West also mentioned if you bought the Angle/Anderson action figure for $20 that Angle and Anderson would sign it. Also, there was a chance to get backstage to meet Jeff Hardy if you paid $100 for a backstage pass.

Before the show started, the paid meet and greet included certain wrestlers that others did not get to meet. I got autographs from the Motor City Machineguns, Devon Dudley, Garett Bischoff, and Mickie James. Also, Robbie E. signed at the table for everyone. At around 7:00 p.m., Don West had the people who bought the Angle/Anderson action figure line up to go backstage and get their autographs. I bought the figure and got to shake both Mr. Anderson’s and Kurt Angle’s hand and thanked them for signing. Also before the show, Don West threw out DVDs and t-shirts.

Show Results

(1) TNA TV champion Devon Dudley defeated Robbie E. to retain the TV Title.

(2) Mickie James defeated Angelina Love.

(3) Hernandez & Gunner defeated Motor City Machineguns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley).

(4) Jeff Hardy defeated Mr Anderson.

At the intermission, anyone could get an autograph with Angelina Love. Also, Don West announced that the A.J. Styles/Jeff Hardy action figure set was only $10. This was the time when anyone who bought a backstage pass was allowed to go backstage and meet Jeff Hardy. Also, Earl Hebner had a t-shirt for sale for $10 and was signing it along with his son, Brian Hebner. Don West also announced that Earl Hebner had refereed his 100,000th match, which is the running joke at TNA house shows.

After intermission, there were two more matches.

(5) Kurt Angle defeated Garett Bischoff. Angle dominated most of the match. Garett mounted a brief comeback until Angle hit the Angle Slam and locked in the Anklelock.

(6) Rob Van Dam defeated TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Roode in a non-title match. It was supposed to be a World Title match, but Roode said he had talked to his lawyer in Toronto and it was officially a non-title match. Roode got pretty good heat by insulting Louisiana and trying to walk away. The ref threatened Roode that if he got counted out, he would lose the title. Roode made it back just in time. Best match of the night easily.

I don’t watch Impact any more, but their house shows are a blast and definite thumbs up in my book. The wrestlers were all nice and seemed to be enjoying themselves and had no problem signing autographs or taking pictures.

(2) Tara defeated Winter. Referee Earl Hebner did a spot where he had Winter in his arms and kissed her. After the match, he did the same with Tara.

(3) Mr. Anderson defeated Robbie E. Robbie initially challenged Anderson to a fist-pump dance-off. Anderson won, then hit Robbie to start hte match.

(4) Jeff Hardy defeated Kurt Angle. Both got good pops with Jeff’s obviously slightly louder as the face, but the crowd showed respect to Kurt.

(5) TNA tag champions Samoa Joe & Magnus defeated Christopher Daniels & Kazarian to retain the TNA Tag Titles. Daniels was hilarious trying to pick fights with little kids.

(6) Rob Van Dam beat TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Roode in a non-title match. Roode got major heat and worked the crowd well. He threw lawn chairs and event wanted to fight the local baseball team. Good stuff.

RVD stayed after his match to pose for in-ring pictures with the crowd for $20. We drove three hours from San Jose, and it was worth it.

- X Division champion Austin Aries defeated Zima Ion via pinfall with the Brainbuster to retain the X Division Title.

– Earl Hebner came out for the next match, and is unbelievably still milking the “Damn Right I Did It” gimmick. He ran around doing Bret Hart mannerisms, which did not draw the “You Screwed Bret” chants he might have been hoping for.

- Knockouts champion Gail Kim defeated Velvet Sky via pinfall with Eat Defeat to retain the Knockouts Title.

– Kazarian and Daniels were out next for a promo. Kazarian talked about the bad weather here. Oh, joy of joys. Daniels had line of the night when he said, “I believe it was Socrates who said If You Want My Body, And You Think I’m Sexy, Come On Sugar Let Me Know!”

- Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelle & Chris Sabin) defeated Kazarian & Daniels via pinfall with the Skull and Bones.

- Jeff Hardy defeated Gunner via pinfall with the Twist of Fate.

- Crimson defeated Matt Morgan via pinfall with a seated clothesline.

- TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Roode defeated Rob Van Dam via pinfall with a Fisherman’s Suplex to retain the TNA World Title.

– The fans who were there were into Hardy and RVD, like you would expect, and The Guns, Velvet, and Aries were all pretty over as well. There were also a lot of “Yes!” chants that tried to get started throughout the night.

Credit: Nick Sidel & ProWrestling.net

The first thing I noticed walking in was that the setup was a little different. Now, I’ve been going to shows at the War Memorial Auditorium since ECW came down here in ’95, was at their 3rd PPV, Hardcore Heaven ’97, saw MLW and a recent ROH show. TNA’s twist on it was having the guys come down from the front stage down the middle, instead of off the side. Maybe for less fan interaction? I’ll get to that later.

Another thing I noticed was that the crowd was surprisingly smaller (should I really have been surprised?) and a little more family oriented (more kids and elderly) than the Friday night ROH show a few weeks back. However, the crowd was vocal and into the show, but they were nothing compared to the ROH crowd. ROH’s style brings out the hardcores and causes fans to go bananas, while TNA, for the most part is very tame and too WWE-ish. Now it’s on to the show.

Jeremy Borash started the show hyping the crowd up, which he would end up doing throughout the show. He told us that the main event championship match was being changed to a triple threat match.

1. Austin Aries defeated Zima Ion. Alright match, with both guys playing to the crowd a lot. Aries did his usual spots, except for the awesome speeding bullet running dive, which I was waiting for. Aries won with the brainbuster. After seeing ROH here a few weeks ago and knowing what these guys could do if they were allowed, I was disappointed, but not surprised. I was hoping that at a house show there was a chance they could go. Didn’t happen.

2. Gail Kim defeated Velvet Sky. Pre-match, Borash introduced Earl “The Pearl” Hebner. He was doing his madman gimmick and tried to go after an obese black man in the front row. The fan played along and took off his shirt, which was funny, but wasn’t a pretty sight since he could’ve used Velvet’s sportsbra or at least Kramer and Mr. Costanza’s bro/manzier. Speaking of Velvet, she looked great. The match was the same stuff as always, seemed to last forever and too many clotheslines. I blinked and missed Kim win with the Eat Da’feat.

3. Crimson defeated Matt Morgan. Crimson won. Was busy Facebooking

4. Samoa Joe and Magnus defeated Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Pretty good match. Daniels was really charismatic, continually doing a doggy style humping dance and other things. Kazarian was jawing with a goofy guy pretending to be Flair, wig and all. Nothing special match. Joe was OK, but just went through the motions. Magnus got the pin after the elbow drop off the top.

INTERMISSION

Don West actually made an appearance and was doing what he does best, hocking overpriced items. Gail Kim was doing pics and autographs and had a really long line. I was taking a cigarette break.

5. D-Von defeated Gunner. D-Von was really over and also won the match. Don’t know what anyone sees in Gunner. He might want to consider a name change, as anyone who’s been locked up knows what the other meaning of being a “gunner” is. I know someone has to have told him by now, so I can’t understand why he’s keeping the tag, LOL.

6. Bobby Roode defeated Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray. Bully came out first and really milked it, spent what seemed forever until he got on the mic and berated the crowd, specifically the obese guy Hebner went after earlier. He said he wouldn’t let any of the skanks down here touch his calves, which was funny. Jeff came out and the place went crazy, no one on the card came close. Such a shame and waste of his talents, but I can relate to his situation, its a tough problem to have.

The heels double teamed on Hardy, Hardy made a comeback and that was the theme. Hardy hit a twist of fate on Bully, Roode threw Jeff out the ring and copped the pin. Match was too quick and paled in comparison to the ROH three way a few weeks ago, which I didn’t think was anything special. After the match they announced Jeff would be posing for pics at $10 a pop and he didn’t even go to the back to wipe the sweat off. Seemed like half the crowd stayed for that, so he made some good money.

That goes back to something I said earlier about fan interaction. The guys gave off the feeling like let’s get to the ring, get this over with and let’s get out of here. They didn’t go around the ring to play with the crowd at all even after the matches, for some reason that stood out to me, maybe too many heelish characters?

Overall I had fun, the show was decent, but definitely the worst out of anything I’ve seen at the WMA. Also, it finished very quickly, barely cracking two hours. Once again, comparing it to the ROH show, which went three hours and had some great stuff on it, they look like the number three company or barely above an indy show if it wasn’t for all the big names.

Speaking of big names, where were all the stars of Impact Wrestling? I read the lineup going in, so I knew who was not going to be there, but for those who read this, check out a list of all the guys who weren’t there: AJ Styles, James Storm, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, RVD (who would’ve been crazy over down here), Eric Young for the kids, Motor City Machine Guns, Mr. Anderson, and Kid Kash just to name a few. The show should have been a lot better and would have been with some of them. Maybe next time? Borash said they’d be coming back, we’ll see

Event: TNA Lockdown Results Pay-Per-View
Airdate: Sunday, April 15th, 2012 (Pay-Per-View)
Location: The Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee
Results by TNAWrestlingNews.com

TNA Lockdown Opener:

The show opens with footage of James Storm putting his bags in the back of his truck talking about how Bobby Roode made things in this feud personal. Storm says this is the biggest match of his career. He welcomes Roode to Nashville, what he calls ‘his town’.

- We get video footage of Roode and Storm preparing for this match, intercut with footage showing their history. It’s a good piece of work.

- There’s no pyro as we begin the PPV, but Mike Tenay is still here to welcome us to the PPV. He immediately begins hyping the Lethal Lockdown match, which is set to open the show.

- Team Garrett is shown backstage talking amongst each other. Garrett comes in and asks to be the first one to get into the ring tonight. Styles is concerned that Bischoff has no experience. Garrett says he knows he’s going to get beat, and he knows he’s a rookie, but he wants to show that he’s got the same amount of heart as everyone else, and gain the fan’s respect. His team is ok with that, so it looks like that’s what’s going to happen.

Lethal Lockdown Match
- Team Eric (Gunner (Captain), Bully Ray, Chris Daniels, Eric Bischoff and Kazarian) vs. Team Garett (Garett Bischoff (Captain), AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson, Rob Van Dam and Austin Aries)
If Team Eric wins, Garett will leave TNA forever, and if Team Garett wins, Eric would leave TNA, and Eric would have to change his name

Garrett Bischoff is the first man to make his way out to the ring, and he actually gets a decent reaction from the crowd.

Gunner is out first for Team Eric, and he doesn’t get a warm welcome from the crowd.

The bell rings, and Gunner and Hunter begin circling each other. The stare each other down for a little while before Gunner charges. Bischoff moves and catches Gunner with a couple of punches. Garrett hits a couple of boots in the corner, but Gunner fights back, shouldering Garrett. Garrett fights out and hits a couple of dropkicks, but he’s thrown back into the corner by Gunner. Garrett goes up to the second rope after hitting a big boot and leaps off the middle toward Gunner. Gunner takes Garrett down to the mat and hits him with a bunch of rights before sending him into the ropes and hitting a back elbow.

Gunner takes Garrett into the corner and buries his shoulder in Garrett’s midsection before planting his knee in the side of Bischoff’s face. Gunner stomps away at Garrett as the clock counts down to the next entrant. Gunner uses his boot to choke Garrett before raking his face against the cage. The clock runs out, and the next entrant in the match is Bully Ray.

Ray heads right into the ring where Gunner is wrenching away at Garrett’s neck. Ray winds up and catches Garrett with a big kick to the chest. Ray stomps on Garrett’s head. Garrett tries to fight back, but he’s stopped by Gunner from behind. Gunner whips Garrett into a big clothesline from Ray. Ray winds up and hits a set of big right hands to Garrett. Garrett tries to fight back again, but he’s stopped with a big right hand from Ray. The crowd is chanting for Austin Aries. The clock runs out and the next member for Team Garrett is Austin Aries.

Aries heads into the ring and brings the fight to Ray. He mounts Ray in the corner and hits a crazy series of rights before jumping off with an axe handle to Gunner. Aries is a house of fire, wearing Ray out in the corner with rights and a running clothesline, but he runs straight into a big boot from Bully Ray. Ray taunts Aries before hitting him with a big right hand. Ray hits Aries with an elbow to the top of the head before trying to whip him across the ring. Aries reverses and runs in shoulder first into Bully’s gut. Aries goes to the top and launches himself off with a missile dropkick to Ray. The clock counts down and Kazarian is the next man to the ring.

Kaz heads into the ring and takes Aries right out of the equation before going over to get in a couple of shots of his own on Garrett. Kaz turns back and forth from kicking Garrett to kicking Aries. Kaz whips Garrett into the middle rope clothesline from Gunner. Gunner continues to pound on Garrett while Ray and Kaz double team Aries. The clock counts down and the man advantage is erased for a little bit as AJ Styles makes his way out to the ring.

Kaz tries to attack Styles, but Styles sends the cage door into Kaz’s face. Styles heads into the ring and takes out Gunner with a Pele kick before wearing out Ray in the corner with a series of rights. Ray charges out with a big clothesline to stop his momentum though. Styles comes back with a big dropkick to Ray, and Aries follows up with a leaping elbow drop. Everyone just seems to be getting in their spots wherever they can, and I imagine it’ll only get worse as more people come in. The clock counts down and the next member of Team Eric is Daniels.

Daniels goes out to the ring and heads right for Styles, whipping him into the corner, and then along with Kazarian, picking him up and throwing him into the cage. Aries finds himself thrown into the cage wall, and then so does Garrett. the fans want to see Garrett tossed in again. Ray heads to the top and hits Styles with a double ax handle smash. Ray heads up to the top again and asks for Garrett to be stood up so he can hit him with a double sledge. Gunner goes to the middle rope and hits a knee drop. The clock counts down yet again and this time it’s Mr. Anderson.

Anderson comes in and hits everyone with a bunch of punches before planting Daniels on the mat and hitting him with an elbow drop. Bully Ray and AJ trade right hands in the middle of the ring, and Styles actually shoulders Ray and slams him down to the mat. Daniels and Kaz hit AJ with a double back body drop. Gunner puts Garrett into the tree of woe and charges into him in the corner. The clock counts down again, and the final member of Team Eric is Eric Bischoff himself.

Eric, surprisingly, heads right into the cage. He goes straight for Garrett and holds him up so Bully can hit him with a big open hand chop to the chest. Ray hits another big chop. Gunner gets in a chop of his own, and Kaz gets in a kick to the face. The heels are just wearing out the good guys, stomping them and punching them into oblivion, for the moment. The clock counts down for the final time, and the last man to enter the match is Rob Van Dam, Lethal Lockdown finally begins!

Van Dam comes in and he’s got kicks for all members of Team Eric, except Eric, who’s cowering in the corner. RVD hits Kaz with a monkey flip, and Ray with Rolling Thunder. Mr. Anderson calls down the mic, but it’s not the mic that comes down, it’s the top of the cage with weapons hanging from it.

Eric Bischoff continues to cower in the corner. Styles pulls down a hockey stick from the top. Aries has a cookie sheet which he uses to whack Ray. Styles works over Ray and Kaz with the hockey stick. RVD has a trash can and he blasts Kaz. RVD continues to use the trash can, hitting Gunner. Styles hits Daniels with a kendo stick to the back. Aries hits Ray with a trash can lid shot to the head. Aries stomps at Ray in the corner. RVD uses a chair to dropkick Ray in the face in the corner.

Aries and Styles notice Bischoff and they bring him into the rings. Aries slams Bischoff to the mat and uses his feet to rake Bischoff’s face. RVD heads to the top rope, but Gunner stops him in his tracks. Gunner hits the corner dropkick on Gunner, and then hits Ray with a rolling elbow. Ray catches Aries and presses him, throwing him into the cage wall like a lawn dart. Anderson hits Daniels with a neckbreaker before hitting Ray with a low blow, and hitting a Green Bay plunge across Daniels’ chest.

Kaz goes after Styles in the corner and both men are standing on the top. Kaz tries to flee by using the top of the cage to climb away from Styles. Styles kicks Kaz and makes him fall to the mat, before falling on top of him with an elbow drop. RVD hits Kaz with the frog splash. Ray catches Aries with a big boot, but eats a dropkick from RVD. Daniels hits RVD with the angel’s wings.

Daniels picks Garrett up, but Garrett is able to counter. Garrett goes for the pin, but Eric has a kendo stick, and he breaks things up. Eric hits Garrett with shot after shot from the kendo stick, actually breaking it in the process.

Garrett makes his way to his feet while Eric is gloating, and he grabs a guitar, which he uses to crash over his father’s head. Garrett goes for the pin, and he gets the three count.

Winners: Team Garrett

Garrett celebrates on his way to the back with his teammates. He says his old man is done. Eric is shown being helped out of the ring by his teammates. He shakes the referee’s hand on his way out.

Steel Cage Match for the TNA Tag Team Championship
- Samoa Joe and Magnus © vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

The bell rings and it looks like Shelley and Magnus will be kicking things off, and this will work like a regular tag match, only in a cage. We get a lock up and Magnus tosses Shelley into the corner. Shelley catches Magnus with a low dropkick, but a clubbing blow to the back stops Shelley’s momentum. Neither man can seem to connect with any real offense until Magnus hits a big clothesline.

Sabin makes the blind tags and the Guns hits Magnus with stereo kicks to the chest and back. Magnus crawls to his corner and tags in Joe. Sabin avoids a takedown from Joe, but he falls victim to a kick to the gut. Joe pulls Sabin out of the corner, and Sabin locks in a headlock. Joe fights out and Sabin hits a shoulderblock, but Joe is unmoved. A second and a third bring out a right hand from Joe. Joe fights off a sunset flip, but eats a dropkick to the side of the head. Shelley tags in and heads to the top, coming off with a double axe handle to Joe’s back.

Joe makes the tag and Shelley hits Magnus with a couple of punches and a big chop in the corner.
Magnus slams Sabin to the mat and goes for the pin, but he only gets one. Joe tags in and takes Sabin down with a series of right hands in the corner. Sabin fights off both Joe and Magnus and tries to make the tag, but he’s stopped by Joe, and a bit of double team work ending in a senton from Joe scores a near fall. Magnus tags in and lock in a rear chin lock to begin wearing Sabin down.

Sabin fights to his feet and tries to get the tag, but Magnus stops him again with a big spinebuster. Joe tags into the match and hits Sabin with a snap suplex that’s good for another quick two count. Joe takes Sabin into his own corner and Sabin is able to fight out with a boot to Magnus and tornado DDT to Joe combination. Sabin crawls to his corner and both men make the tag. Shelley comes in with a series of boots to Magnus. Magnus fights off sliced bread, but he’s sat in the corner, and he puts Joe down with a kick to the head. Another try at sliced bread and Magnus seats Shelley on top. Joe and Magnus go up for a double superplex, but Sabin comes in and hits a powerbomb on Joe out of the corner. Magnus goes for something, but Shelley hits Magnus’ head on the cage and he drops to the mat. Shelley hits a double stomp, but Joe makes the save.

The Guns slam Joe head first into the cage wall before turning to Magnus. Sabin goes for a neckbreaker, but Joe catches him in the rear naked choke from behind. Magnus gets Shelley with a full nelson. Shelley fights out and hits sliced bread on Magnus. Joe breaks the hold to break up the pin. Joe and Magnus try for their finishing combination, but Shelley avoids the elbow. Sabin locks on a sleeper on Joe in the corner.
Gail and Madison quickly make their way to the back while Velvet recovers in the ring. Velvet makes her way to the back, apologizing to the fans for letting them down.

In the Arena:

Ric Flair’s music hits, and the Nature Boy makes his way out to the ring to a pretty nice reception from the Nashville crowd.

Of course Flair gets a ton of ‘Woos’ from the crowd. He stands in the ring with a mic. He asks the fans if they have any idea who just walked in the ring. He says that’s a series question. He says that he is the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. He says his life gets greater and bigger every day. He asks the fans if they know why. He says it’s because he’s that damn good. He says he’s a special kind of cat, and tonight, he’s telling the fans that he’s pissed off. He says Hogan just wont leave him alone and tonight he ended Eric Bischoff’s career. Flair says that isn’t funny to him.

Flair runs down a fan in the front row, and he’s interrupted by the music of Hulk Hogan. Hogan makes his way out to the ring to a big reaction. Hogan has a mic in hand and he asks for his music to be cut. Flair says Hogan pissed him off, brother. Hogan says that as the General Manager, he’s got to admit something. He says Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time. He then asks for permission to enter the ring.

Flair gives Hogan permission, because he wants to talk to him. Hogan says if Flair has a complaint, he says that Flair should express it right here and now. Flair says he’s had a problem with Hogan for 30 years. He says he doesn’t like how he runs TNA. And he says he doesn’t like how he tricks people like Bischoff. Flair says he’s working for Hogan, but some day, he’ll just flat out kick his ass.

Hogan says he’s got to ask Flair a question. Does he know where he is? Hogan says he’s at Lethal Lockdown, and all’s fair. He says because all’s fair, Eric Bischoff will never be a part of Impact, and he can never use the name Bischoff again. He also says that everyone in the building knows that if Hogan and Flair hook up right now, they’ll tear the roof off the building, so he suggests that if Flair has a problem, he should do something about it right now.

Flair says that really pissed him off. Flair takes off his jacket but Hogan knocks him on his back. Hogan heads out of the ring and Flair pops up, demanding that Hogan come right back. Flair goes ballistic, throwing a mic into the crowd, then grabbing another. He asks where Hogan is going. Flair turns around to the announcer’s table and says he’ll kick Tenay’s ass. Flair looks crazed as he jaws with fans.

Crimson heads over the top and drops down to the floor, winning the match.

Winner: Crimson

Crimson smiles and gloats as he walks around the cage and toward the back. He gets in a couple of words with Morgan too, blowing him a kiss, much to Morgan’s chagrin.

- We get a video package that shows the recent history between Angle and Hardy that led up to this match. This includes Angle screwing Hardy in a World Title shot against Bobby Roode, and Angle’s son liking Hardy.
