Tamma “Sunny” Sytch has been released from prison after being jailed for four months for her well-publicized string of violations of her boyfriend’s restraining order. If you will recall, Sytch was sentenced to 114 days in prison after she was arrested six times in a four month period, including three times in three-days, for breaking the order filed by Damien Darling against her.

TMZ reports that Sytch has been released from the Connecticut prison in which she served time and told them that she had contracted HPV before entering prison, and while inside learned it had become cervical cancer. Sytch says she has undergone a hysterectomy at a hospital in the area a couple of weeks ago. She’s now apparently free of cancer.

Sytch says she has written an autobiography while in prison and will be moving to New Mexico to make a fresh start. She is on conditional discharge for the next two years.

WWE’s new head writer is already gone. Adam Rudman, who replaced Eric Pankowski a couple weeks before WrestleMania 29, is no longer with the company. Rudman was let go on Friday; when initially hired, people backstage predicted that he wouldn’t last.

The belief backstage is that Rudman didn’t have knowledge of the industry and was thus a bad fit.

As noted last week here on the website, longtime producer John Gaburick is also gone from WWE. Gaburick, best known as “Big John” has been with the company since the 1990s and appeared during the original run of Tough Enough on MTV. He is finishing out his commitments to the company.

ORIGINAL: We reported last week that WWE Vice President of Television Production, “Big” John Gaburick, was leaving the company. Gaburick, who had an on camera role with the MTV version of Tough Enough, had a farewell party with his co-workers. The initial word going around was that Gaburick was leaving the company on his own, but one source stated that it was not the case…

“You don’t leave that kind of spot and money unless the right people have problems with you.”

Gaburick always had a good relationship with Kevin Dunn, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Television Production, but Vince McMahon was not always a big fan of him. When Gaburick was promoted to his VP position several years ago, his relationship with Dunn began to sour. Dunn had been someone that previously protected Gaburick from McMahon.

It now seems as if things got to a point where the company decided it was time for a change and Gaburick quietly left his position.

Viewership continuously increased throughout the show as the hour averaged 4.078 million viewers, the second hour drew 4.295 million viewers, and the third hour garnered 4.307 million viewers.

– WWE Hall of Famer George “The Animal” Steele has two book signings scheduled for next month in New Jersey. On June 20, he will be signing Animal at Barnes & Noble 3981 US Hwy 9 Freehold (call 732-409-2929 for more information). The following day, he will be signing the book at Barnes & Noble 240 Route 22 West, Springfield (call 973-376-8544 for more information). Both signings begin at 7:00 p.m.

– Ringside Collectibles has posted an interview with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley where he discusses his new Cactus Jack Mattel WWE figure, his promo with Ryback on Raw, his standup comedy tour, and more.

Word is that Triple H has always been very high on Curtis Axel (the former Michael McGuillicutty) and has been a driving force to get him a new push on WWE TV. While Triple H has always been supporting of him, many questioned the booking of RAW last night as many people backstage were left wondering how much Triple H really helped the repackaged star by not losing clean at the end of RAW.

As noted earlier here on the website, Axel was originally going to be called just “Curt”. The name was changed just before he debuted, but the Titantron last night had the old name. This goes to show you how fast changes are made in WWE.

The other supporter is The Rock. During his latest WWE run, The Rock did most of his in ring training with Axel to prepare for his run of pay-per-view matches.

– Mark Henry reportedly tweaked his shoulder at Extreme Rules. No word on how serious the injury is as of this writing. As noted earlier here on the website, there has been talk that WWE will be turning Mark Henry babyface soon. The angle with him “going home” after Extreme Rues is a way to set that up.

– Jim Ross wrote on his blog that he is still developing a one man show about his life and career.

– Here is the latest edition of WWE “Outside the Ring”:

– 12 Rounds: Reloaded, starring Randy Orton, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 4.

– Mick Foley’s comedy tour will take him to Edmonton and Alberta, Canada on May 29-30. He will headline for the first time at Caroline’s Comedy Club on June 2 in New York City.

– Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke with Muscle and Fitness and told a story about Andre the Giant.

– Monday night’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW scored 267,714 in social activity, which is up 18 percent from last week’s RAW. The show had been down in social media activity, but last night’s show was the highest social score since the night after WrestleMania. Raw ranked #1 on cable TV Monday night.

WWE plans to have the locations for both WrestleMania 31 and 32 set in August, and will reveal them to the host cities that successfully bid on the event at that time.

The Detroit Sports Commission has submitted a bid in hopes of hosting either WrestleMania 31 or 32. Detroit previously hosted WrestleMania 23 at Ford Field, which is where the event would take place if it returns to the city.
