Breaking News: Edge To WWE Hall Of Fame
By Ryan Clark on January 10, 2012
It was just announced on RAW with an awesome video package that Edge will be inducted into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame. Edge will be inducted as WWE releases his new career DVD and his WWE Studios movie, Breaking The Rules.
The tickets for WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony at the American Airlines Arena go on sale January 14th, with an online pre-sale set for January 12th. Tickets for the March 31st show will go from $41.40 TO $93.65.
We reported several days ago that the fact that the company is using an arena like the American Airlines arena tended to indicate they would be inducting a huge name, as the only times they’ve used larger arenas for the inductions have been for Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair.
The Four Horseman and Mil Mascaras are the only officially-announced members of the 2012 class so far.
UPDATE: Edge stated during an interview with Aftermath on The Score Monday night that if the choice is his, Christian will induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.
WWE announced during the first hour of Monday’s RAW SuperShow that Edge would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night after WrestleMania XXVIII.
