Report: John Laurinaitis Losing More WWE Duties
By Ryan Clark on July 8, 2012
John Laurinaitis is continuing to lose “real-life power” according to a source. Many of his former duties have been taken away from him and given to new hires of the company by Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
It should also be noted that Pete Leone has been given even more responsibility in the talent relations department of WWE.
According to sources, WWE has created two new major positions within the company. This includes Social Media producers who will be responsible for voting, polling, texts and tweets on both television shows and live events. The producer will also work with the television production team, creative team, web team and live events team. The other position is Live Events Analyst where the person is responsible for creating “metrics to measure the success of house shows beyond ticket sales.” The company is wanting the person to create “models and formulas” to be able to predict attendance figures at shows, analyze historical data from each arena and come up with ways to maximize revenue at events.
