Manik Reveals How Much He’s Paid + GFW Racecar

— On his Ask.FM page, TNA talent Manik (TJ Perkins) was flat out asked how much he makes from TNA Wrestling and replied with the following:

“My contract was started midway thru the year last year but altogether with salary+appearances I was on pace for roughly $75,000-$84,000 for a year period. That’s if my schedule is as busy as it was last summer/fall. Also that’s only counting TNA. I’d make a lot more if I kept up with other bookings outside but I just don’t. I’m also guaranteed a huge chunk of that regardless of if I wrestle or not. So it’s pretty ok considering I do what I love. I’m on the low end on the roster too. Most guys do way better than me.”

He later deleted the post. Perkins also revealed that his current TNA deal expires in September.

  1. Necro Botcher says:

    TNA ruined Jesse Neal’s life.

Because of them he’s now destitute and has to do moronic staff cheers before every shift and work graveyard hours where he directs fat Florida couples to the aisle with the chocolate flavored Trojans.

My point is, the man’s dignity is no more because of that embarrassment of a company. He perused a dream to be a pro-wrestler, put his proverbial eggs in the wrong basket, and now he has a job most of us would’ve been overqualified for by the time we were 22 (unless you’re a TNA mong, then I think greeting customers and pushing a mop across the floor might be a little over your head.)

It isn’t entirely his fault either. He was duped by a bunch of sociopaths and liars. I feel terrible for him.

Manik isn’t any better than Jesse is.

How long before he gets low-balled and his life ruined also?

    Think about it.

    TNA gave Jesse Neal TNAIDS.

    Botcher, out.

I worked overnights at Wal-Mart, so f*ck you. They didn’t make us do team cheers. They just let is get on with being dead inside and working for too little money.

That being said it seems like working for TNA would be a very similar work experience.

It was gutless, classless, and flat out cowardly what Ditzy and TNA did to him.

    • ExPack says:

TNA didn’t ruin his life. He had multiple concussions from botches and they wanted to send him to development to hopefully help him.he decided not to go. And if you read some other articles he’s actually happier working a “real job” than wrestling.

  2. Orko says:

Damn, that’s pretty good for a low carder. But I wonder what compensation and medical is like.

    • Nomad says:

None. He also has to pay for his own travel, hotel, and insurance expenses. It sounds like a lot, but it isn’t.

  3. Calvin says:

He just over exaggerated his earnings multiple times in his statement. First he says he was only there for half the year, but IF it had been a whole year. Then he says IF he’s as busy as he was during his peak of last year.

That total he gives is the absolute most his contract COULD be worth IF he was always performing and working.

However, that’s not the case at all. When was the last time he was on TV? When was the last time you read about him in house show results?

Yeah $75-$85k a year for that?

Show me a pay stub Perkins, or you are just a fraud.
