The Latest Update On Viacom/DirecTV Feud Inside
By Ryan Clark on July 13, 2012
The dispute between DirecTV and Viacom that has seen Viacom’s channels (including Spike TV) off the satellite service may not be ending any time soon. Deadline reports that things are moving along slowly in negotiations between the two and that “consumers shouldn’t expect a resolution soon.” Viacom intends to buy radio ad time over the weekend to advertise their issues in the dispute while DirecTV responded that Viacom should “grow up… rather than ramp up the propaganda in newspaper ads and radio spots.”
Last night’s episode of iMPACT! was not available to DirecTV customers and next week’s may well be the same.
