TNA House Show Results 11.15.12: Johnson City, TN

Report by David Bowman and PWTorch

I attended the Johnson City house show on Thursday night. Here are the results.

– Christy Hemme was the announcer and hype lady. She also sang the national anthem.

(1) Chase Owens beat Kincaid in a battle of local wrestlers.

(2) X Division champion Rob Van Dam beat Zema Ion to retain the X Division Title. Great match.

(3) Miss Tessmacher beat Madison Rayne.

(4) Matt Morgan beat A.J. Styles after calling out Styles for a match.

(5) Bobby Roode beat James Storm.

(6) Devon beat Mr. Anderson with help from Luke Gallows and another masked Aces and Eights member who ran in. Jeff Hardy then cleared the ring, which led to…

(7) TNA World Hvt. champion Jeff Hardy beat Austin Aries to retain the TNA World Title. Hardy was nursing an injury. There fewer high spots than usual, and no Swanton. After the match, Hardy iced his lower back while still in the ring taking pictures.

Overall, a good show… The crowd of 300 was very disappointing… Wrestlers were very into it the show; all were very interactive and put on a great show.

I planning on taking my boys to the tna show in johnson city,tn 20min from my house (kingsport,tn) I used to live in tampa,fl and would make the hour drive over to orlando to catch id say 50+ tna ppvs/impact tapings over the years. socal val told me my son was cute ( i said thank you and blushed lol!) at one of the ppvs a few years back when they had the split heel/face entrances. anyways some asshole stole my wifes purse at the dollar store so we didnt get to go. but i later found out they were charging more than wwe for the tickets! this town is no ful of wealthy people like in fl there hillbillies and in the future tna if you hold your impact event where you had the meet and greet with madison and matt morgan in kingsport,tn you would have had a huge crowd! kingsport is were all of the local and regional wrassin takes place. the meadowview convention center in kingsport can hold 2,000 people and would have been a sell out if tickets were $10-15 bucks you could make up the differance in merch/food sales!
