TNA Leaving Impact Zone Permanently – Details

TNA will move out of the Impact Zone permanently once they tape their “One Night Only” PPVs there in March. They are ending their lease with Universal Studios Orlando and after the tapings they will take their production, rings and sets.

They have been regularly taping TV there since leaving the Nashville Fairgrounds in June 2004. TNA is getting rid of the costs of the live monthly PPV and the Impact Zone and using the money into running tapings on the road every week.

I just hope they make it a real show not that cheap uk version where they walk out a damn black curtain!!!! they will never compete with low quality production. look at that impact taping the did in knoxville,tn last year in a mid size arena i was there and it was packed and had a crowd as hot as the impact zone yet it didnt come across that way on tv at all due to poor lighting and piss poor audio! I think they had like a kareoke machine for entrances!!!!! and no pyro!!! I really enjoyed the original set with the two 6ft tall WCW’s had for nitro. TNA is a clone of WCW Right? Check out bound for glory the one were sting and angle wrestled in atlanta,ga the set they used was identical to the wcw original set other than the giant wcws. I say bring that one back and stick it in a corner of the arena where the doors are and save on shipping and big stages. sometimes less is more. but theres got to be great sound a big screen and PYRO!!!! Unless you want people sitting on there hands……

That’s not a bad idea. Maybe they should move to Monday’s while they’re at it. Oh wait…

The move out of the Impact Zone isn’t gonna last. As it is, their ratings aren’t good on TV, so what makes them think that people are actually gonna PAY to see their crap in person? I know WWE’s product isn’t great because their creative team sucks too. But despite the fact that their creative team is bad, people are still willing to pay to see them live.

Also, what about all the stars that say that they are with TNA because the travel schedule isn’t that demanding? If you take into account Impact and house shows for the week, that “easy” work schedule isn’t going to be as easy as they once thought. Once again, taking all of this into account, they won’t be on the road very long. They will be back in the shitty Impact Zone in no time
