2 Big 1,000th RAW Matches, The ‘Peep Show’ Returns

– John Cena vs. CM Punk for the WWE title will headline next week’s 1,000th RAW broadcast. John Cena announced at the end of RAW this week that he would be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on the show.

– Christian will defend the Intercontinental Title next week on the 1,000th RAW. Christian won a poll to determine which mid-level champion should defend their title as part of a promotion for the RAWActive social media features. Christian won with 36%, while Layla had 34% and Santino had 30%.

– Daniel Bryan and AJ will appear on Christian’s “Peep Show” this week on SmackDown. As noted on RAW, their wedding will take place next week on a three-hour 1,000th edition of WWE Monday night RAW.

– As previously reported, Tatanka, Roddy Piper, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, DDP, Steve Blackman, Vader, Doink the Clown, Bob Backlund and Sid Vicious have all also teased appearances, appeared recently, or been contacted by WWE about appearing on next week’s 1,000th RAW. Expect a TON of surprises next week.
