A Backstage RAW Visitor + Rey Mysterio Returns

– As noted earlier here on the website, it was announced on RAW this week that next week’s 1,000th RAW will open with the long-rumored Degeneration X Reunion. Their last appearance as a unit was in March of 2010, before they broke up following a rematch for the Unified Tag Team Championships against ShowMiz. Also announced was a wedding between Daniel Bryan and AJ after Bryan proposed and AJ accepted.

– Pete Rose was backstage visiting at RAW this week.

– Rey Mysterio returned on RAW this week. Mysterio is also being advertised for this week’s WWE SmackDown taping in San Diego, California. The official website of the Valley View Casino is advertising a tag team match featuring Mysterio and John Cena against Big Show and John Laurinaitis. This will be a dark match for the live crowd only. The masked grappler had been out of action for nearly a year due to injury, a Talent Wellness Program violation and WWE’s refusal to utilize him post-suspension. WWE is not advertising Mysterio for any other upcoming events although he is back full-time now so that will likely change.
