Backstage Reaction To Chris Jericho’s WWE Return

Chris Jericho’s return at the Royal Rumble reportedly had some mixed reactions. Some were excited for his return heading into WrestleMania, but many felt that Jericho was there just to “take the spot” of other talents. WWE has always been known for bringing back some former superstars for the Road to WrestleMania. As noted earlier here on the website, Jericho will likely be involved with WrestleMania this year taking place at Met Life Stadium.

The reaction for the return of Goldust and The Godfather has been positive based on the crowd’s reaction. There have not been any discussions for Goldust and The Godfather doing more than a one night appearance. It doesn’t appear they will be used for further storylines. The Godfather does live in Las Vegas, NV, the site of tonight’s RAW, so it’s possible we may see him once more tonight but that is not confirmed.

Marks cry about the rock “Taking the spot” but not about Jericho doing the same.

Now a days, Chris Jericho leaves all year round and comes back just to take a spot at wrestlemania.

Butt guess what…. just like the Rock… HE IS A MOTHERFUCKING LEGEND!

Jericho and The Rock can take any spot they want. They paid their dues back in the day, so they can come in and out whenever they want today.

Plus anybody that has their “spot” taken must not be really all that good or important to get bumped.

In the case of Jericho, his return is and will be beneficial for young talents (hopefully), it looks like a Ziggler feud and perhaps another big one, perhaps Barret or Cesaro.

This is good news, I really cannot believe that people are disappointed by his return.
