Big RAW & SD Matches For Next Week, Punk/Eve

– NWA Hollywood has set a new show for Saturday, August 18 in Huntington Park, California. The show is being branded as live wrestling before WWe’s Summerslam PPV in Los Angeles. Stars include TNA Gut Check contestant Joey Ryan, Scorpio Sky (Mason Andrews in TNA), Tough Enough contestant Eric Watts, and NWA International Television champion Willie Mack. – The August 10 episode of WWE Vintage Collection featured the following matches: Chavo Guerrero vs. Chavo Classic vs. Spike Dudley (WWE SmackDown – May 20, 2004), The Mexicools vs. The Blue World Order (WWE Great American Bash 2005), The Caribbean Kid vs. Steve Austin (WWF Superstars – April 13, 1996), Pedro Morales and Tito Santana vs. Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Sheik (WWF Superstars – January 31, 1987), Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio (WWE SmackDown – September 9, 2005). – As noted late last night, CM Punk vs. The Big Show will open next week’s three-hour RAW at 8EST.

– WWE has announced that Eve Torres will face Kaitlyn on next week’s episode of SmackDown. The winner will become Booker T’s assistant. Eve was initially rejected only for him to give the job to Kaitlyn seconds later. When Eve complained, Booker put them in a match for next week.

– WWE Champion CM Punk and Eve Torres filmed a “kitchen cage match” special with celebrity chef Graham Elliot on Thursday. Elliot, who hails from Punk’s hometown of Chicago, tweeted a picture of himself with Punk and Eve, which you can view at this link.
