Canada’s ‘The Score’ Being Sold + Whipwreck/WWE
By Ryan Clark on August 24, 2012
– Mikey Whipwreck revealed yesterday on Twitter that he had done some filming at WWE Studios.
– It is being reported that The Score, which airs all WWE programming in Canada, is being bought by Rogers. The move, which is pending government approval, is likely to have effects for those who watch WWE in Canada.
According to reports, there are massive layoffs that may be coming which could affect WWE Experience; the studio portions of Experience are produced directly by The Score. In addition, reports claim that Renee Paquette, who hosts the post game shows for RAW and SmackDown, is about to be gone. The result may be a format shift to more of an approach like ESPNews.
Nonetheless, many people who currently work for The Score are worried.
