– El Generico, who Ring of Honor teased over the weekend would be returning to the promotion as an opponent for Kevin Steen, has not signed a contract. His status with Dragon Gate USA remains unchanged.
– Hector Garza was diagnosed over the past few days with pulmonary cancer, a form of lung cancer, and for at least the time being, has retired from wrestling. He will have to go through six chemotherapy sessions to try to rid him of the disease. Garza is a mainstay in Mexico, but also spent time in the US with both WCW and TNA.
