Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw. We begin tonight’s show with the arrival of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Both men make their way to the ring. Heyman grabs a mic and starts by introducing himself to the WWE Universe. He says that in 6 days, he will be the advocate for the new Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar. Heyman says that he comes out every week to sell the WWE Universe on big matches. Brock has asked Heyman to come out tonight and sell Summerslam to John Cena’s fans. Heyman says that bad things happen to good people who step in the ring with Lesnar. Heyman says those who don’t learn from history, tend to live it. Heyman then shows stills of Lesnar defeating The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Heyman says that he told everyone that Lesnar would drive The Undertaker into the canvas and end the streak. Heyman says that if you were a Taker fan, you wouldn’t miss Wrestlemania. Heyman says that when Lesnar was a rookie he got his hands on The Rock, and when Brock beat The Rock, The Rock wasn’t seen for 6 months. He then got his hands on Hulk Hogan. He says when Brock got his hands on Hogan, Hogan wasn’t seen for a year. Heyman says that now John Cena wants to step up. He says that if you are a fan of John Cena, don’t miss Summerslam. Heyman says that this Sunday, Brock Lesnar will make sure that Cena isn’t seen around the WWE anymore. Heyman says that Brock has gotten his hands on Cena before, and then shows stills of Lesnar and Cena’s match from Extreme Rules 2012. Heyman says that when Cena got the tainted victory over Lesnar at Extreme Rules, Lesnar wouldn’t make excuses. Heymans says that at Summerslam, Lesnar will be 100%, unlike their match 2 years ago. Heyman says that Cena is a 15 time champ, and likes to have fun. Not at Lesnar’s expense. Heyman then starts to rhyme to John Cena. Heyman says that at Summerslam, Paul Heyman will conquer John Cena. Heyman says that Brock wants him to tell everyone that the WWE is now Brock’s house. He says that the WWE Universe are Brock’s servants, and the ring is his home. Heyman says he is taking Lesnar out to dinner, but after they are done, Lesnar is coming back home.
We now see a happy birthday wish to Hulk Hogan from Flo Rida and Weird Al Yankavic. We will be seeing happy birthday messages throughout the night to Hulk Hogan.
Back on Raw, we are joined by Roman Reigns. He makes his way to the ring through the WWE Universe. Kane now makes his way out in a suit and tie. He says that he again is the director of operations. Kane says 6 days before Summerslam, the authority would like to see how he does against 2 men. Rybaxel now make their way to the ring for this handicap match.
Roman Reigns vs. Rybaxel
Axel starts by trying to irish whip Reigns, but Reigns just pushes him away. Both men now lock up and Roman gets a headlock. Reigns hits the ropes and connects with a big shoulder tackle. Axel shoves Reigns and Reigns connects with a hard right hand. Ryback now tags in. Both men lock up and Reigns gets a headlock. Reigns hits the ropes and goes for a shoulder tackle, but Ryback doesn’t budge. Reigns fakes hitting the ropes and connects with a big clothesline. Ryback backs Reigns into the corner and lands some shoulder blocks and right hands. Reigns fights out with right hands of his own. Reigns gets whipped into the corner but he explodes out with a clothesline. Axel distracts Reigns and that gives Ryback the advantage. Ryback goes for a suplex, but Reigns blocks and connects on one of his own. Reigns backs Ryback into the corner and connects with 7 mounted punches, but Ryback carries Reigns to the middle of the ring and connects with a powerbomb as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Ryback is in control of Reigns. Reigns gets tossed into the corner but gets out with right hands to both members of Rybaxel. Reigns lands a kick to the head and sends Ryback to the outside. Reigns gives chase and Axel causes the distraction so Ryback can attack. Ryback tosses Reigns twice into the ring post. Both members toss Reigns into the ring post again after the ref warns them to stop to cause the DQ. Axel charges and hits a drop kick to Reigns and then Ryback follows with a splash. Axel goes for a splash and Reigns connects with a big clothesline to both Axel and Ryback. Reigns hits a Samoan drop to Axel and then tosses Ryback over the top to the floor. Reigns kicks the legs out from under Axel and then hits his running drop kick from the outside. Reigns now tosses Ryback face first into the ring post and then tosses him into the ring. Reigns calls for the Superman punch and connects to Ryback. He then calls for another and connects to Axel. Reigns connects with dueling spears to both members of Rybaxel.
Winner by DQ – Roman Reigns
After the match, Renee Young gets in the ring for an interview. Before Reigns can say a word, there is a loud “Roman” chant by the WWE Universe. Reigns asks Portland if he is ready for Summerslam. He gets a big ovation. He says that Randy got him 2 weeks ago, but he claims he stole something from him. Reigns says he hasn’t stolen anything from Orton, but he will steal everything from him this Sunday. He says that he claims that the viper is back, but what is a viper when you knock his fangs down his throat? A worthless little worm. He then says to believe that.
We go to the back where we see Kane and Orton. Orton says that he finds it funny that Reigns isn’t scared of him. Orton says that Rybaxel and the demon couldn’t get the job done. Orton says that he will end Roman Reigns. Kane says that his match against Roman Reigns will be one of the biggest challenges of his career, so the authority have decided to put him in a match tonight to make sure he is ready. Orton will be going one on one with Sheamus. Kane says it’s what’s best for business.
We go back to the arena and we are joined by Rob Van Dam. He will be going one on one with Seth Rollins after the commercial break.
Back on Raw, Seth Rollins is in the ring. He and Rob Van Dam will be going one on one.
Rob Van Dam vs. Seth Rollins
Rollins starts with a kick to the gut followed by right hands and stomps in the corner. Rollins gets whipped into the corner and RVD comes back with a spinning heel kick. RVD hits a standing moonsault for a 2 count. RVD pushes Rollins into the corner and goes for the 10 punches, but Rollins slides out and kicks RVD’s leg out from under him. RVD hits the ropes and Rollins connects with a back elbow. Rollins covers and gets a 2 count. Rollins locks in a neck crank and then transitions into a rear chin lock. RVD fights back to his feet and its the ropes. RVD rolls up Rollins with a leg scissor for a 2 count. RVD comes off the 2nd rope and a back kick and Rollins bails to the floor. RVD connects with a baseball slide. RVD picks up Rollins and sets him on top of the barricade. RVD jumps on the apron. He leaps and goes for his spinning leg drop, but Rollins moves and RVD hits the barricade as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Rollins is in control of RVD with a rear chin lock. RVD fights back to his feet. Rollins tries to toss RVD into the corner, but RVD blocks it and connects with a kick to the head. RVD gains some steam and hits 2 clotheslines followed by a scoop slam. RVD hits the ropes and connects with a rolling splash for a 2 count. RVD connects with a thurst kick to the chin. RVD hits the split legged moonsault and covers for a close 2 count. RVD hits the ropes and Rollins catches him with a kick to the gut. RVD goes for a monkey flip in the corner, but Rollins holds the ropes. Rollins connects with The Curb Stomp and covers for the 3 count.
Winner by Pinfall – Seth Rollins
After the match, Rollins checks out the presents on top of the stage. There is one that is bigger than the others and Rollins shakes it but nothing happens. Rollins starts to walk away but Ambrose breaks out of the present and attacks Rollins. Rollins gets away and takes off through the WWE Universe. Ambrose grabs a mic. Ambrose tells Seth to run while he still can. Ambrose says that there are no running or hiding in a lumberjack match. Ambrose says that for just 9.99, he is going to get more than his money’s worth.
Back on Raw, we are joined by Stephanie Mcmahon. She makes her way to the ring and grabs a mic. Stephanie says as a principal owner of the WWE, she does what is best for business and for the WWE Universe. She says that sometimes she gets information that she has to say. She says that Daniel Bryan has been training hard to come back, and she introduces Daniel Bryan’s physical therapist. She welcomes the physical therapist and invites her to the ring. Stephanie thanks her for being here tonight. She says that the therapist has something that she wants to confess. She doesn’t wanna talk and Stephanie tells her that it’s ok, and she is the victim here. The therapist says that she has gotten to know Daniel and Brie very well, and has been trying hard to get Daniel back in the ring. She says that’s what Daniel wants to do and has an appreciation for the WWE and the WWE Universe. She then says that she can’t be Daniel Bryan’s physical therapist anymore because something happened between her and Daniel. She said it was innocent at first. She then says that she has been having an affair with Daniel Bryan. Stephanie tells her that she is sorry and hugs her. Brie Bella now makes her way to the ring. She starts talking to Megan (the physical therapist) and asking her if it’s true and she tells her it is. Stephanie says that Bryan used her and threw her away like a piece of trash. Stephanie tells Brie that Megan told her that Bryan called Brie a dead fish. Stephanie says that after every physical therapy session, all Megan could say was “Yes.” Brie slaps Megan and then takes down Stephanie. Brie locks Stephanie in the Yes Lock until agents show up and pull her away. Stephanie gets on the mic and says that they aren’t gonna wait until Summerslam, they are gonna finish this tonight. Loud “Yes” chants by the WWE Universe.
We now see some more happy birthday wishes to Hulk Hogan from Drew Brees, A.J. Hawk, and Aaron Rodgers.
Back on Raw, we are joined by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Swagger will be going one on one with Cesaro.
Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro
Swagger starts off by trying a takedown, but he goes behind. Cesaro hits the ropes and connects with a shoulder tackle. Swagger goes behind again and this time gets the takedown. Swagger hits the ropes and connects with a shoulder block of his own. Swagger catches Cesaro in the air and hits a slam for a 2 count. Cesaro gets whipped into the corner but moves as Swagger charges. Cesaro hits a few knees and follows that with a gut wrench suplex. Cesaro connects with some body blows and right hands to Swagger in the corner. Cesaro charges and hits a running uppercut to Swagger in the corner. Swagger hits the ropes and Cesaro locks in an abdominal stretch. Cesaro connects with some knees to the gut and then hits a rib breaker for a 2 count. Ceasaro now locks in a shoulder lock. Swagger backs Ceasaro into the corner and hits some shoulder tackles. Cesaro gets a boot up and then comes off the 2nd rope with a double ax handle. Cesaro goes back to the 2nd rope and goes for another, but Swagger catches him and hits a belly to belly suplex. Swagger connects with a short arm clothesline. Cesaro comes back with a knee to the gut and hands Swagger on the top ropes. Cesaro charges and hits a big boot to the face to knock Swagger to the outside as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Cesaro has an abdominal stretch on Swagger. Swagger fights out with a right hand. Swagger fights out and hits the ropes but Cesaro catches him in another abdominal stretch. Swagger counters the hold with a sidewalk slam. Swagger hits the ropes and connects with a big clothesline followed by a boot to the face of Cesaro. Swagger charges and connects with the Swagger Bomb for a 2 count. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock, but Cesaro rolls him up for a 2 count. Swagger back to his feet and lands some right hands. Cesaro comes back with a double chop to the throat followed by a big boot for a really close 2 count. Cesaro jumps off the 2nd rope with a senton splash for another close 2 count. Cesaro tosses Swagger on the apron. Cesaro sets Swagger up for his big superplex, but Swagger blocks and puts Cesaro on the apron with him. Swagger now tosses Cesaro back in the ring. Cesaro tosses Swagger into the air and hits a big knee to the gut. Cesaro charges and hits a running uppercut for a 2 count. Cesaro connects with a double stomp, but Swagger grabs the ankle for The Patriot Lock. Cesaro gets to the ropes and then climbs up, but Swagger catches him and locks in the Patriot Lock in the middle of the ring. Cesaro tries to get to the ropes but ends up tapping out.

After the match Zeb grabs a mic. Zeb says tonight they are in Portland, but Sunday they are at Summerslam. Zeb says to Lana to tell Rusev that after Summerslam, everyone from one side of the country to the other will remember the American Flag because Jack Swagger will own him. Zeb tells everyone to rise and join them in saying “We the People.” Zeb is cut off by the dropping of the Russian Flag behind him and the arrival of Rusev and Lana. Rusev and Lana waive the Russian Flag on the stage as Swagger and Colter waive the American Flag in the ring.
Back on Raw, the announcers show us an interview that Michael Cole had with both Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt at the same time. Bray starts by telling Michael Cole that he can leave. Bray asks Chris if he remembers his dreams as a child. He says that he remembers them. A scared little boy who wanted nothing more than to be like his daddy. Bray says that it drowned him and left a hole so big that all Jericho can do to fill it is to become a savior of his own. Bray says he knows a lot about him, but Chris knows nothing about him. Bray says that every time he tries to dream, all he hears is everyone’s screams. He says that never once has he claimed to be a savior. He says that the only thing he lives for is to help people who can’t help themselves. He says that he has to scream it until everyone’s ears bleed. He says that only way to help someone is to hurt them in a way. Bray says as long as he has been on this world, he has hurt a lot of people. Bray says that he isn’t sorry at all, and he can’t resist the urge. He says there are no consequences for his actions, and he doesn’t believe in heaven or hell. He says he hates everything that this world has created besides himself. Bray says that he is a monster, and he is Bray Wyatt. The eater of worlds. Bray says that the human race is decimated by it’s lack of fortitute. Bray says that at Summerslam, his smile is the last thing that he will see. Jericho says that he isn’t a savoir, but in the 15 years he has been in this company, he has become a survivor. The reason he is a survivor is because you don’t know what you are gonna get with Chris Jericho. He can’t promise which Jericho Bray will get at Summerslam, but he follow the buzzards, grab them, and shove them down Bray’s throat. He says he will be the first one to shut Bray up for good.
Back in the arena, we are joined by the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. She will be in one on one action after the commercial break.
Back on Raw, Eva Marie is in the ring. She will be in one on one action against AJ Lee.
AJ Lee vs. Eva Marie (non title match)
Both ladies lock up and Eva starts working on the left arm of AJ. AJ counters into a hip toss into a side headlock. Paige’s music now starts up and she makes her way to the ringside area. AJ connects with a knee to the gut. Eva hits the ropes and AJ connects with a running lariat. Paige is skipping around the ring. Eva rolls up AJ from behind while she is distracted by Paige and gets the 3 count.
Winner by Pinfall – Eva Marie
After the match, Paige gets on the mic and says she knew when she pushed AJ off the stage, that she would be mad. Paige says that she wrote AJ a little poetry. Paige gives a half hearted apology and tells AJ that she has a face she wants to punch. Paige then tells AJ that she will walk out of Summerslam with HER divas title. Paige then skips to the back. AJ walks over to Eva Marie and attacks her from behind on the outside. AJ tosses her face first into the announce table and then back first into the aprton. AJ now mounts Eva Marie and lands multiple right hands to her. AJ tosses Eva back first into the barricade. AJ now smiles and skips away holding her divas title.
Back on Raw, we are joined by the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena. He makes his way to the ring and grabs a mic. John Cena introduces himself to the WWE Universe. He says that in 6 days, he is to be conquered by Brock Lesnar. He says that is if it believe Paul Heyman. Cena that this Sunday, there will be pain and punishment. Brock will give him the beating of a lifetime. He says that there is 1 thing that Brock will not do, and that is win. Cena says that this Sunday, Brock will have to make him lose and Cena will not lay down for him. He says that Brock doesn’t deserve the championship. Cena isn’t saying that he isn’t unbeatable, but it will not be this Sunday, and it won’t be to Brock Lesnar. Cena says that he doesn’t like Brock. He is a bully and doesn’t care about anyone but himself. Cena says that Lesnar is the most uncaring person to ever walk in the locker room. Cena says that this is a business, and Lesnar’s views of the business makes it where he doesn’t deserve the title. Cena says that he has heard the cheers and he has heard the boos. He has been told he can’t wrestle. He’s heard Let’s go Cena/Cena Sucks. He says that every week, he comes out with a smile on his face. There are a group of few who ask every week, when does John Cena turn, and say enough is enough? When does John Cena stop being about the wrist bands and t-shirts. When does John Cena unleash hell? Cena says that this Sunday everyone will see a John Cena that nobody has seen before. A Cena that he isn’t proud of, but a Cena that he has to be to keep Lesnar from being the champion. Cena says that Brock believes that the WWE is his house, and the WWE Universe belongs to him. Cena says that this house belongs to the WWE Universe. He says for the sake of gamesmanship. Cena tells Brock that if this is his house, there is a stranger standing in his house. He says to try and kick him out. Cena says that there is no Brock Lesnar, and maybe he has came down with a case of “punk-b*tch-itus.” Cena tells Brock to come down to the ring. Cena says fine, and if Heyman wants a response here it is. Cena says that he isn’t going to repeat history this Sunday, he is going to make it. He will be the one that beats the one. Cena says that this Sunday, the champ is here. Cena leaves the ring and makes his way up the ramp and to the back.
Back on Raw, Hulk Hogan gets a birthday wish from Larry King and country group Florida Georgia Line.
Back in the arena, Brie Bella makes her way to the ring for a one on one match with Stephanie Mcmahon. Stephanie Mcmahon makes her way out not dressed to compete. Stephanie says that they are going to have to wait until Summerslam after all, and that’s if Brie makes it to Summerslam. Stephanie tells Brie that Megan Miller has decided to press charges against her for slapping her earlier tonight. Brie now slides out of the ring as 2 officers show up and handcuff Brie. Stephanie tells Brie that she is going to jail and asks the officers if the cuffs are on tight. Stephanie keeps mocking Brie as she is walked away. Stephanie tells everyone to let this be a lesson to them. Stephanie tells Brie that if she makes bail, she will see her at Summerslam.
Back on Raw, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz has joined the announce team for our next match. Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. He will be going one on one with Heath Slater.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Heath Slater
Both men lock up and Slater goes behind, but Ziggler counters and goes behind himself. Slater connects with a right hand to get separation. Ziggler hits the ropes and Slater connects with a back elbow. Slater now locks in a rear chin lock. Ziggler fights back to his feet and connects with a standing drop kick. Ziggler connects with a snapmare and a jumping elbow for a 2 count. Slater gets a quick roll up for a close 2 count. Ziggler picks Slater up and hits a scoop slam. He goes for another jumping elbow but misses. Slater hits a jumping knee drop for a 2 count. Slater now locks in another rear chin lock. Ziggler fights back to his feet, but Slater connects with a knee to the gut for another 2 count. Slater now locks in another rear chin lock. Ziggler fights back to his feet and connects with a jaw breaker. Ziggler hits the ropes and connects with a jumping lariat and a drop kick. Ziggler charges but Slater moves and Ziggler hits the corner. Slater charges and Ziggler moves. Ziggler connects with the Zig Zag but before he can cover, Miz jumps on the apron. Ziggler knocks Miz off the apron and gives chase to The Miz. Ziggler punches Miz up the ramp and then tries to get back in the ring, but he can’t make the 1o count.
Winner by Count Out – Heath Slater
After the match, Ziggler offers his hand to Slater. Slater tries to get a cheap shot in, but Ziggler catches his foot and connects with the Zig Zag.
Back on Raw, we are joined by Randy Orton. He will be in one on one action against the WWE United States Champion Sheamus in a non-title match.
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus (non-title)
Both men lock up and Orton backs Sheamus into the corner. Orton makes a clean break. Orton connects with a couple kicks to the gut, but Sheamus fights back with right hands. Orton whips Shamus into the corner, but Sheamus explodes out with a clothesline. Sheamus connects with an uppercut and a body shot in the corner. Sheamus lands some right hand, but Orton grabs Sheamus and tosses him into the corner. Orton charges and connects with a clothesline in the corner. Orton charges again but Sheamus gets the boot up. Sheamus picks up Orton and hits a big scoop slam. Sheamus goes to the 2nd rope and connects with a knee drop for a 2 count. Sheamus stalks Orton, but Orton comes back with a kick to the gut. Sheamus grabs Orton and tosses him head first into the corner. Sheamus connects with a short arm clothesline for another 2 count. Sheamus has Orton on the apron, but Orton fights out with a back elbow and drops to the floor as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Orton is in control of Sheamus with a rear chin lock. Sheamus fights back to his feet and lands some right hands. Sheamus clotheslines Orton over the top and to the floor. Orton lands a kick to the gut and then back drops Sheamus onto the announce table. Orton poses to the WWE Universe as Sheamus lays on the floor. Orton rolls Sheamus into the ring and covers for a 2 count. Orton now locks in another rear chin lock. Sheamus fights back to his feet and hits a belly to back suplex to get separation. Sheamus gains steam and hits 2 running lariats. Sheamus charges and hits a running knee lift followed by a running knee in the corner. Sheamus hits a suplex and covers for a 2 count. Sheamus picks up Orton for White Noise, but Orton slides out and slides to the outside. Sheamus gives chase and slams Orton face first into the barricade. Sheamus slides Orton into the ring, but Orton catches him coming in. Orton goes for the hanging DDT, but Sheamus counters and connects with his 10 clubbing blows on the apron. Sheamus picks Orton up on his shoulders and hits the rolling senton. Sheamus covers and gets a close 2 count. Sheamus goes for the Irish Curse, but Orton fights out and hits a kick to the chest. Orton hits his back breaker and Sheamus rolls to the apron. Orton connects with the hanging DDT and now calls for the RKO. Sheamus rolls to the apron again, but hangs Orton on the top rope. Sheamus connects with a battering ram and a tilt a whirl slam for a close 2 count. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick, and Orton goes for the RKO, but they both counter. Sheamus connects with a boot to the face and goes to the top rope. Sheamus leaps and Orton catches him with a mid-air RKO for the 3 count.

Back on Raw, all the WWE Superstars have gathered on the stage for Hulk Hogan’s birthday celebration. Mean Gene and Jimmy Hart are in the ring, and Mean Gene introduces Hulk Hogan. Hogan makes his way out and heads to the ring. Mean Gene says that he has never had a birthday party like this, and we are all here tonight to celebrate him. Mean Gene tells Hogan to watch the screen. We now see a video highlighting the life and career of Hulk Hogan. Mean Gene says that they could be here all night. Hulk says that after seeing that and the way this ring is set up, along with the WWE Universe, this is the first time he has been speechless. Hulk says to let him see if he can muster something up. He says that all day long he has been showered with presents, even by Vince Mcmahon. He got a birthday card, and it had a certain amount of money in it. It had $9.99, just so he could subscribe to the WWE Network and watch Summerslam. Hulk says that this is the greatest birthday he has ever had. He thanks the superstars and the WWE Universe. He says at 61, you start to think back a lot, and knows that Hulkamania is a 2 way street, and he hopes he has touched everyone’s life as much as they have touched his. He says he loves his Hulkamanics and loves the WWE Universe. Ric Flair’s music now starts up and he makes his way to the ring. “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff’s music now starts up and he makes his way to the ring. Now the music of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper starts up and Piper makes his way to the ring. Now the music of the NWO starts up. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall make their way out and head to the ring. Scott Hall grabs the mic first.
Hall says “hey yo.” He then says that The Outsiders are happy to be here for his birthday. Hall says that he looks good in the red and yellow, but he wants to take a survey. He asks the WWE Universe if they came to see Hulk in the red and yellow, or if they came to see him in the black and white of the NWO. Hulk rips off the red and yellow and shows an NWO shirt. Kevin Nash now grabs the mic and starts singing happy birthday. Nash is cut off by the music of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar and Heyman make their way to the ring.
Lesnar gets in the face of all of the legends in the ring and tries to intimidate them. Heyman asks Hogan what is he gonna do. Lesnar says “party’s over grandpa.” Cena now runs out. Cena tells Lesnar to make a move. Lesnar smirks and then leaves the ring. Lesnar and Heyman head up the ramp as we go off the air.
