According to sources, Brian Gewirtz was actually removed as the head of both RAW and SmackDown a few days ago when the rating came in from the October 1st show.
Gewirtz was part of the “home team” which didn’t travel to shows. Dave Kapoor was the “road team” point man for RAW, and Ed Koskey is for SmackDown. Both usually attended both shows.
Vince McMahon was in a bad mood all day yesterday and stated that changes had to be made and that it had to start at the top.
