New SSlam Match?, HBK’s Retirement, Foley/SSlam
By Ryan Clark on August 18, 2012
– Damien Sandow cut a promo at the end of the WWE ’13 reveal earlier today and revealed that he’ll be a downloadable character for the game later this year.
– When asked by a fan on Twitter if he’d come out of retirement, Shawn Michaels replied with the following: “Same speculation different day!!” As noted earlier, there are no plans for HBK to work any matches in the coming months despite the ongoing storyline between Brock Lesnar and Triple H.
– Mick Foley’s post-SummerSlam comedy show at the Improv in Los Angeles is nearly sold out. As noted earlier, numerous WWE talents and Divas are expected to head over to the show following the SummerSlam pay-per-view.
– WWE has been plugging a Brodus Clay Tout video where they say he has been training for a SummerSlam match. The 15-second clip shows Clay working out in Los Angeles and he yells at Damien Sandow at the end. As we’ve been reporting, Damien Sandow vs. Brodus Clay is expected to be added to the PPV.
