Report: Big Issues Over The Ryback/CM Punk Match

WWE’s creative team is reportedly having a rough time putting together a finish for the CM Punk/Ryback match at Hell in a Cell. WWE officials, including Vince McMahon, are high on Ryback but don’t want him to lose clean at the PPV. There is also talk of keeping the title on CM Punk until the Royal Rumble where The Rock is expected to wrestle for the gold.

The end of the event (main event) will likely be Ryback/Punk but they don’t want the pay-per-view to end in a DQ or screw job as it would take away from both guys. Officials also do not want to end the show with Sheamus vs. The Big Show since it’s not as big of a draw.

One idea that’s been rumored to have been discussed is having Brock Lesnar come out and cost Ryback the match. The issue there is that it would waste a date with Lesnar and the revenge Triple H is expected to put on Lesnar when he returns. WWE is probably going to come up with multiple ideas for the finish during the next week or so.

    I say bring in Goldberg and have him cost Ryback the match. Let that build all the way to Mania, let Goldberg pass the torch, and help Goldberg’s rumored dvd sell.

    I suggest rigging one corner of the cage for Ryback to easily tear open, making him look even more beastly. Proceed with the match with a torn-open corner, and have John Cena rush out near the end and pull CM Punk through, securing the title defense, layering the Cena/Punk tension, and put Ryback more over.

    Could have heyman get the cell raised during match for punk escape or rigg the door so Ryback m can rip it off and again cm punk run away with belt, just be a poor ending that’s all, or maybe there needs to be someone to go for Ryback but not cost him match just take him out

    One other possibility is lesnar coming out going for Ryback and then cena coming out going for Lesnar setting up a punk/Lesnar v cena/Ryback at Survivor Series

    HITC will be the birth of the nWo. Nash comes out to help PUNK. Punk becomes the new leader. Ryback feuds with the nWo while CM Punk goes on to fight the Rock. Then rock loses to cena and cena vs punk vs ryback. That will make money there.

    I think a Lesnar interference is plausible and then cena coming out too setting up Cena/Ryback vs Punk/Lesnar at survivor series. Lesnar could then take out Ryback after SS leading to HHH return setting THEM up at RR along with Punk/Rock, Ryback then returns at RR going for Lesnar, building up Mania!

    Have ryback get attack by a guy that way he doesn’t really lose his streak cm punk could keep the title and face cena for it ryback faces whoever attacked him at ss or something depends how long he’s out for cena v. rock round 2 at the rumble and after the match nash and punk attack the rock and cena to reform the nWo and weeks leading to mania which I’m suppose to go they are getting new and or old members ryback,rock,cena and anyone vs nwo.

    Someone likes Ziggler gets added to the match and Punk pins him instead of Ryback. I bet 10 bucks on it.

    Ryback wins clean, (from punk later saysshowing he underestimated him andto can beati him onto any other night). ziggles comes in and takes title. Punk demands his title match on raw that next night. Ryback comes out, accidentially “rakishis” ziggler (lookup when kurt beats rock for title as refrence) at end of raw, punk wins title again. Next week, rock vs punk announced. Ur welcome wwe. No interaction bgetween ryback and punk until month b4 mania and u got ur already built up with anticipation rematch. Why is creative so hard for them?

      Only problem there is that they don’t want to have Puk lose the belt to keep his reigin continious. Punk can’t lose the match and neither can Ryback so it’s a lose-lose situation for the WWE the only way to do it is to have a non-finish ie Punk runs away.

    & Ryback vs Punk & Lesner. W/ hayman as manager of both Lesner and Punk…….

    There’s all manner of weapons Punk could use to beat Ryback. Maybe Lesnar comes out and they physically tie him the ground to be pinned, opr something like when Mankind pinned The Rock using a forklift at halftime during the 99 Superbowl.

    since Punk seems to be willing to bleed, you could work a no contest due to a cut, or maybe a top rope finisher that incompasitates both guys, resulting in a double count out.
