Rumored WWE Payback **SPOILERS** – Heel Turns?

Source(s): WZR Radio & The Wrestling Observer

As we talked about on this week’s edition of WZR Radio, the following are some rumored WWE Payback pay-per-view plans…

— At the time, John Cena is expected to retain the WWE Title at Payback. The idea behind the Three Stages of Hell match is to have him overcome a huge post WrestleMania obstacle.

— The Payback card changed significantly heading into Monday’s RAW. Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton were originally set to face off in a singles match at the pay-per-view.

— At this time, Daniel Bryan and possibly Chris Jericho could turn heel at the Payback pay-per-view. The Randy Orton heel turn still looks to be on hold for the time being.

— CM Punk is expected to go over Chris Jericho at WWE’s Payback pay-per-view this Sunday night.

i still dont think cm punk will appear i want him to because since it is in his hometown they will be crazy and vs jericho would be amazing match but for some reason ever since they announced this match it just didnt seem right and feels like a trick and doesnt feel like it will happen to me.

Right so Bryan is hugely over right now as an intense heel so they want
to kill that and turn him heel? Yet Orton is floundering as a face, has
no direction, wants to be heel, was the face of the company as a heel
when Cena was out and rated one of the best in the world and nearly everyone wants to see him as a heel. Yet they want to keep him face? I know this is rumours but if this is true I just cannot understand WWE booking logic…

      *Intense FACE.

100% agree with you… they did the same thing with punk last year, they turn him face when he was at his hottest at a heel and stifled him…

Orton needs to go back to being a heel, bryan should stay a face for now…

but most importantly, the company needs better writing… too many superstars seem to be purposeless at the moment.. Sheamus, Del Rio, Big Show, Cesaro, Miz, Barrett, Kofi, Jericho all seem to be floating without direction…

Calling it: double turn. Chris Jericho turns heel with help from Paul Heymen, beats Punk in Chicago. What better way for Punk to become a face again?

    • Nashhole says:

I doubt if Punk will ever be a face again. He doesn’t seem comfortable in the role. Being a heel is a much more natural fit for him.

cm punk tweener because then he can face th face stars and heel stars best thing for him makes everyone happpy.
