– There is a pre-sale today for the October 22nd WWE SmackDown taping in Providence, Rhode Island. The password is WWESHEAMUS.
– The commentary team for WWE’s Saturday Morning Slam taping Tuesday night in Bakersfield, California featured Josh Mathews and Santino Marella. Josh Matthews was kept off SmackDown to sell the injuries he suffered at the hands of Kane at SummerSlam but did commentary for the event taped before SmackDown.
– Current DGUSA champion Johnny Gargano will defend the Open the Freedom Gate Title on August 24th. He will defend the title at a Fight Club: PRO event in Wolverhampton, England against an opponent to be named.
– Johnny Gargano will also have a non-title match against Jon Davis on the EVOLVE 17 iPPV on September 8th.
