– Last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown did a 1.96 (2.0) cable rating, with 2.69 million viewers. That number is up a hair from last week’s 1.95 rating but down 9% from 2.95 million viewers. The viewership was about the same as the summer average.
The show was down in the teen and younger male viewer demographics but stayed even among adults 18 – 49, males 18 – 49 and males 18 – 34. The show ranked #4 in overall viewers for the night among cable TV shows, and #2 in the timeslot behind Bill O’Reilly’s FOX show. The show was #1 in all key male demos among cable shows for the night.
– WWE changed the color scheme of their Twitter page to pink as part of their work for cancer awareness this month.
– NXT has shows set for Crystal River, Florida on October 13th and Orlando, Florida on October 24th.
– WWE.com posted an article that says Kaitlyn has a “torn tendon” from being assaulted at Night of Champions last night. They’re going with the storyline that she won’t need surgery but will be wearing a brace for several weeks.
