The Latest Update On The WWE TLC PPV Buyrate

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

The latest WWE estimates for the WWE TLC PPV on 12/16 has the show doing 71,000 buys domestic and 99,000 buys international for a total of 170,000 buys. This would be the lowest domestic buyrate for a WWE PPV all year in 2012 and ties the 2010 Bragging Rights PPV as the third worst domestic number in modern history.

Given how well some of the “B” WWE PPV events were drawing in 2012 it was considered a big surprise as to how low the domestic total was for the final event of the year.

To many ppvs drop like 2 or 3 ppvs..make raw specials like KOTR

  • imright

Drop the oct ppvs..have a bigger build up for survivor series..hiac should only be used to end a fued not to have random matches

  • Phil

Leave the big four (RR, WM, SSlam, SSeries), bring back KOTR, and eliminate the rest. The Elimination Chamber and Hell in a Cell matches can be used for RAW and SmackDown! on occasion.

    • Yea yea
