This Week’s RAW Rating Is In – Huge Increase

Last night’s episode of WWE RAW scored a 3.68 (3.7) cable rating, with 5.02 million viewers. Those numbers are up 21% and 16%, respectively, from the 3.04 and 4.3 million viewers the week before. It is the first time that RAW has topped five million viewers since the 1,000th RAW and before that, the night after WrestleMania 28. The first hour drew 4.86 million viewers, the second hour drew 5.27 million viewers and the third hour drew 4.93 million viewers.

The show ranked #1 among cable TV shows for the night, both in overall viewers and in the key male demographics. The key demos were up huge, both of them up 0.6 from last week.

The 1/21 edition of WWE RAW came in at No. 4 (hour two with 4.41 million viewers), No. 5 (hour one with 4.37 million viewers) and No. 9 (hour three with 4.16 million viewers) for the week ending 1/27/13 among cable’s top 25 shows for last week. The show drew an average audience of 4.31 million viewers, down from the prior week that drew 4.55 million viewers.

    I hope the WWE has a plan to keep all the new/returning fans for when the Rock leaves, otherwise this will be a vicious cycle.

    Those ratings are because of the Rock… and when the rock leaves again the ratings will once again be shitty, because WWE doesn’t care about building a good product.

    Why are the ratings high? because of the Rock… who is a star from the 14+ Rating era…

    So technically the ratings are increasing because the rock represents a piece of that era when WWE wasn’t childish.

    Conclusion = PG does in fact kill ratings. PG is in fact killing the WWE. PG is in fact why the product sucks. PG is in fact why the super stars WWE is producing (Ziggler, Ryback) can’t get over and can’t put asses on seats.

    All of you who don’t want to ACCEPT that PG is cancer to the WWE can suck my balls because this is clear evidence.

    CM PUNK does not increase ratings!.. and the reason is because he does not fit in a product that is watched by 9 year olds.

      notice how NONE of the stars created post 2008 draw shit!

      Sheamus, Ryback, Cm Punk, Ziggler, The Miz (back when he was champ) All Main eventers. Some great (Punk, Ziggler) some not great.. But all relate in that none put butts in seats. None of them are big draws.

      Cm Punk is great.. but the record shows that he is not a draw. Sorry punk fans.

    This justifies The Rock, Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar getting their paychecks. The boring cookie cutter jobbers in the back should try to learn from them, rather than whining about losing a WrestleMania spot.

    In a way i am looking forward to the great one leaving. When the ratings drastically drop i hope vince wakes up and understands that its time for another change. Change the pg to 13 or TV14 and improve the superstar characters. Wake ip! The rock is a part timer and look what he did!! Your fulltimers have nothing on that
