Triple H Lifts 400 Pounds + Barrett Box Office #’s

– WWE will be holding a RAW/SmackDown Supershow on May 18 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Deadline reports that WWE Films Dead Man Down opened with a disappointing $5.3 million at the domestic box office this weekend. The film played in 2,188 theaters.

– Joe DeFranco of DeFranco’s Gym tweeted the following along with a photo of Triple H performing a 400 pound “SuperYoke” carry during a workout session on Sunday morning. DeFranco tweeted: “@TripleH UPPER BACK lookin’ JACKED!. Photo of @TripleH performing a 400lb.     Well considering pretty much the only decent movie they’ve made is Legendary I can’t say I’m surprised. Nothing says success like releasing a majority of your movies directly to Blu-Ray and DVD. Dead Man Down is the first actual theatrical release in a long time if I’m not mistaken. I’m baffled why they are doing so poorly with solid gold titles like The Chaperone, Knucklehead (I think it’s WWE films), The Marine part 57: Awwwwwesome Edition, See No Evil (remember that garbage?), 12 Rounds and on and on. How can they NOT have one box office smash with all of those titles? They were all so good… Sigh…
