Vince McMahon Frustrated With Talent, Mysterio Note

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer

– WWE has pulled Randy Orton from ads for the company’s July 24th show, where he was set to face Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio in a Triple Threat Match. Orton appears to not be eligible to return from suspension until July 30th.

– Rey Mysterio’s sixty-day suspension for his second violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program expires on Monday. WWE has yet to advertise Mysterio for any upcoming events.

– Vince McMahon issued a directive to WWE scouts recruiting athletes as prospective talent; they must meet a size requirement of 6’2″ and 240 pounds. The WWE chief is concerned that many of his top-tier talents are approximately 200 pounds, thus small by his standards. His remark to Daniel Bryan on last week’s episode of RAW where nobody would believe him to be a WWE Superstar if he was spotted in a grocery store was based on his frustration with his roster’s lack of sufficient size. McMahon believes many of his top stars are not reaching the masses because they don’t possess ‘the Superstar look.’

It’s not the talents fault that the writers and guys that are running the show suck

I know I have been watching WWE programming for over 30 yrs since I was 4 watching Wrestlemania I at the local movie theater. If anyone know WWE it is I. Today’s writers really are out of touch with the current yet evolving fan that is the “WWE Universe” simple storylines missed big ones botched. It’s crazy Vince needs to take a chance hire some dedicated fans to chunk around some ideas who knows it just might be what he is looking for.

I looked on the website last time they were hiring and they wanted someone with a 4 year degree and experience writing tv shows and I just shook my head.
