Word is that the finish involving referee Brad Maddox helping CM Punk retain the WWE Title at Hell in a Cell was decided at the very last minute by Vince McMahon. WWE had gone through several options on the match finish during the week, which at times led to confusion.
Maddox wasn’t used on RAW last night, with the explanation being that he is getting medical attention after Ryback beat him severely after the PPV match. Maddox is expected to be back for next week’s RAW from England.
