WWE Now Offering Annual Network Subscriptions

Until now, the WWE Network has been sold on a six-month agreement, paid for via monthly installment payments of $9.99.

WWE announced today that as part of a Father’s Day special, they are offering a year long subscription to the WWE Network. The subscription is priced at $119.88, which is not a discounted price. You’d still be paying the $9.99 a month for the service.

Thats why people will not get the network. If there was no subscription fee and all you had to pay is $9.99 a month people would definitely get the wwe network but until then they are only going to have 700,000 subscribers and never reach their initial 1,000,000 subscriber goal.

What do you mean No Subscription? Its 9.99/a month that is the fee. Unless your talking about the 6 month contract minimum? Which if thats what your talking about, WWE and Vince has to have that.. He cant give away PPVs for 10 bucks then have some fans leave the Network, so 6 month is a safeguard that Hardcore fans wont mind because they are going to keep the Network, and if other fans dont want the Network after they try it atleast WWE gets 1 PPV Buy out of it.

You obviously cant read. When you first sign up its a $60 commitment basically its a subscription fee. For fathers day they are offering $120 plus the $9.99 you have to pay monthly. Thats not worth it. If it were straight up $9.99 a month they would have more subscribers.

No I read it perfectly. You just repeated what I said, just laid it out in a slightly different way. However its still 9.99/month either way.
Do the math… 119.88÷12=9.99. So you can either pay a lump sum, or monthly, what he is saying is its not cheaper either way. Its always 9.99/mnth whether you do 6months or a year.

Its not worth it if i have to pay a fee then monthly payments whether its $9.99 or $99.99. Thats why they didnt meet their mark of 1,000,000 and why they never will plain and simple.

It is Worth it. For this reason alone, but many more. Wrestlemania now cost $60-70 if you just order that, for 1 maybe 2 EPIC matches with HOFr legends All time greats like HHH,Rock,Austin etc being there. Summerslam the second biggest PPV cost $50 since they usually has Brock or somebody to set up a WM feud. Thats $120 Value right there, it pays for itself.
Not to mention All the time any time you want watch, any great Austin,HHH,Rock, HBK, etc match..it pays for itself.. Only thing missing is Attitude ERA RAWS Catalog.

Only a casual fan would think this isnt worth it, everyone I know who likes WWE has the Network.

          • The Realist says:

You really think a fee on top of monthly payments is worth it? For lack luster programs and events you have already seen or most likely own on dvd or blue ray you want to pay fees and monthly payments to see it again and again? Ive ben a fan since the early 90s when i was a kid im 28 now and even now i still im a mark for wrestling but its not worth even the $9.99. I did the free week and its not worth it even if they show the ppv on the network cause the product isnt worth the investment. You are wasting your money with the net work, all who have subscribed have wasted your money on it.

Oh my days, it’s like talking to a brick c*nt. It’s not a subscription fee and the monthly fee. It’s one or the other. Just like when you get a phone contract you are tied into a contract for the 6 months meaning you have to pay the $9.99 for the 6 months. I can’t explain it in simpler terms than that

          • jive says:

I was never charged 60 bucks initially and then paid 9.99 no i just am charged 9.99 once a month. And its only june they may not make exactly 1million but they’ll come close depending on what they add after the 6 months.
