The attendance was about half capacity. I would say 2,000 at most. The crowd was dead for the entire night. No energy at all. I drove in from Detroit and should have stayed home.
1. Tyson Kidd beat Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler yelled to crowd multiple times ” it’s the first match wake up.”
2. Kofi Kingston over Ted DiBiase. Snooze. Kingston won with Trouble in Paradise.
3. Natalya over Rosa Mendes. Wiggle, wiggle.
4. Kane and Daniel Bryan defeated The Prime Time Players to retain the WWE Tag Titles. A fun match but the crowd wasn’t chanting very much. Kane and Bryan did the usual hug routine after the match.
5. Wade Barrett over Yoshi Tatsu. Yawn.
6. Ryback fought Jinder Mahal to a no contest. Ryback suffered a serious cut about two minutes in and they stopped the match by doctor’s order. It was a bummer that no one was fed.
7. Sheamus beat Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Hvt. Championship. A good match. Ricardo Rodriguez is worth price of admission for me. He is hilarious.
Overall, it was not good. The lack of star power hurt the crowd interest from the start.
Biggest Pop: Shemus
Most Heat: I suppose Alberto Del Rio
