WWE House Show Results 07.20.2012: Jackson, MS

“Once I saw the lineup I was sorry I bought tickets. I went and it was OK but WWE needs to go back to doing one house show. This wasn’t worth the money. Here are the results.

Brodus Clay beat Jack Swagger.
Tensai beat Tyson Kidd.
Curt Hawkins lost to someone I never saw before.
Layla beat Beth Phoenix to retain the Divas Title.
Kofi Kingston and R-Truth beat the Prime Time Players to retain the WWE Tag Titles. AW is even worse in person.
Dolph Ziggler beat Zack Ryder in a very good match. They let them work and it was good.
Santino Marella beat The Miz to retain the US Title.
John Cena beat The Big Show in a cage match. Afterward, Cena hit the AA on John Laurinaitis.”

    It was rather disappointing, guess everyone was headed to STL for RAW 1,000. A few notes:

    “Leakee” beat Curt Hawkins

    The Prime Time Players actually “won” the Tag Team titles before one of the DiBiase brothers came out in a referee uniform and told the ref there was a foot on the ropes. The match restarted. Kofi and Truth got the “double pin.”

    As noted in a previous article, Santino ran went off of the top rope and it collapsed. It was a very odd moment and no one really knew what was going on.

    It was quite comical. AW was given a mic that didn’t work when he came out and complained “I should have known nothin would work in this run down city.” Mics aren’t working, top rope collapses….only in Jackson. I think the biggest pop came when he insulted the city for sure.
