Very entertaining evening in a near-sold-out crowd in Nottingham. Lots of fun and entertainment for all ages.

(1) Brodus Clay & Santino Marella beat Primo & Epico. Decent match with a lot of comedy spots. Brodus got the pinfall on Epico after a Cobra and Big Splash to finish.

(2) Michael McGillicutty beat Tensai. Back and forth match ending in a roll-up pin victory for McGillicuty after Tensai broke out of an attempted Perfectplex.

(3) Divas champion Eve beat Layla and A.J. to retain the Divas Title. A.J. got the original pinfall to win and capture the Divas Title, which prompted Vickie Guerrero to appear and re-start the match because A.J. had interfered during Eve’s pin on Layla by stopping the referee’s hand counting three. As we all know, Superstars are not allowed to put their hands on the officials.

(4) John Cena beat Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler dominated throughout this bout. Very impressive for a house show. Vickie got thrown out early on in the match. Then, the ref got knocked to the outside, which prompted Vickie to return, pick up the briefcase, and wait for Cena to get up. However, A.J. ran down, took the briefcase from Vickie, and both A.J. and Cena “had a moment,” which was interrupted by Ziggler, who in turn took a briefcase to the face. This was followed by an AA to which the official jumped into the ring to count three.

(5) U.S. champion Antonio Cesaro beat Zack Ryder to retain the U.S. Title. Pretty entertaining match with a few nearfalls towards the end. Cesaro finished off Ryder with the Neutralizer.

(6) WWE tag champions Team Hell No beat Team Rhodes Scholars to retain the Tag Team Titles. Very entertaining match with many comedy spots from Kane and Daniel Bryan throughout. The match ended when Cody Rhodes tapped out to the No! Lock.

Next was Punk vs. Ryback in the main event. C.M. Punk started by calling out local Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp, saying he is a loser who plays for a loser soccer team. He commented that he is a loser because he let four goals past him on Saturday when his job is to stop the ball going into the net.

(7) Ryback beat WWE champion C.M. Punk via DQ; Punk retained the WWE Title. Pretty decent match with Ryback dominating early, forcing a comeback from Punk. Ryback was set to Shell-shock Punk, but Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow ran in and interfered. Ryback soon eliminated them both and set Punk up to deliver Shell Shock.

Ryback ended the evening by rounding the ring shaking fans’s hands and again up both sides of the ramp.
