WWE House Show Results 8/30: Brisbane, Australia

Justin Roberts welcomed us to the show and then gave us a spiel about the social networks as he did during the show as well.

Brodus Clay defeated Jack Swagger.

Swagger came out to unanimous boos from the crowd. Brodus celebrated after the match dancing with kids in the ring.

Zack Ryder defeated Daniel Bryan.

Good match with lots of crowd interaction from Bryan. He stopped the match several times to yell no at the crowd and even got the announced to say he doesn’t have a goat face. Ryder won with the Ruff Rider and celebrated after

Miz came out and cut an excellent promo saying he flew out here just to get booed and that he was OUR champion.

Miz defeated Alex Riley to retain the Intercontinental Title.

Good match with Miz winning with the Skull Crushing Finale. After the match TENSAI came out and choke bombed and splashed Alex Riley. He got the mic and asked anyone for a fight saying he will be here all night before walking to the back

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated Primo and Epico with Rosa Mendes to retain the Tag Team Titles.

Kofi and R-Truth won after AJ restarted the match a False Finish because Kofi Kingston leg was on the rope.

Intermission

Layla defeated Rosa Mendes to retain the Diva Title.

Layla pinned Rosa after a lot of dancing with a little bit of wrestling at the end.

Santino Marella defeated David Otunga.

Otunga was on top most of the match while taking breaks to pose. Santino won after he hit The Cobra. While Santino was celebrating with the crowd TENSAI came out again and and attacked Santino. Brodus Clay, Kofi, R-Truth, Alex Riley all came out for the save.

Main Event: CM Punk defeated Big Show and John Cena to retain the WWE Championship

Great 20 minute match with CM Punk hitting John Cena with the Title after Cena had AA’d the Big Show.

John Laurinaitis music hit and he came out with steel chair. He hit Cena once then got AA’d from Cena.

Cena then thanked the fans and promised to do his best at Night of Champions.

Great show with John Cena and CM Punk getting the best pops of the night.
