WWE House Show Results: Manchester, England

Pretty much sold out tonight, great crowd.

(1) Brodus Clay & Santino Marella beat Primo & Epico. Comedy match to get the crowd warmed up. Clay got the pin after the big splash.

(2) Michael McGillicutty beat Tensai. Loud “Albert” chants all match, and no one seemed to know who McGillicutty is. Mike got the win with a roll-up.

(3) Divas champion Eve beat Layla and A.J. to retain the Divas Title after a false finish where A.J. won when she dived under the referee’s hand on a three count, so Vickie re-started it and Eve pinned A.J.

(4) John Cena beat Dolph Ziggler. Very good match. Ziggler looked brilliant all match. Vickie went to hit Cena with the MITB briefcase, but A.J. stopped her, Cena then hit Dolph with the AA for the win

(5) U.S. champion Antonio Cesaro beat Zack Ryder to retain the U.S. Title. Easily the match of the night, plenty of nearfalls. Antonio hit the Neutralizer for the win.

(6) WWE tag champions Team Hell No beat Team Rhodes Scholars to retain the Tag Team Titles. Hilarious stuff again with Kane and Bryan; Bryan was amazingly over. Sandow tapped to the No Lock for the win. Funny stuff after the match with Kane acting as a Matador with the Tag Titles with Bryan being the bull. Bryan eventually grabbed both titles and ran off.

(7) Ryback beat WWE champion C.M. Punk via DQ; Punk retained the WWE Title. Carbon copy of the HIAC match, but a bit longer. Ryback went for Shell-Shocked, but Rhodes Scholars attacked him. He fought off those two, before delivering Shell Shocked to Punk to end the show. Punk was over as a face, and the Feed Me More chants were so loud. A few Goldberg chants, which are really getting old now.

Overall, a good show with a hot crowd.
